If you live in the south, cucumber sandwiches are a must for your tea party gathering. Your guests will sure to be pleased with these cute little bites of mouthwatering joy.

Cucumber Sandwich

2 Cucumbers, washed and thinly sliced
8 ounces cream cheese, softenened
1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon Celery Salt
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Dill Weed
White Sandwich Bread
Cookie or Biscuit Cutter

Wash and slice your cucumbers thinly and set aside.

Mix softened cream cheese, mayonnaise and seasonings.Let sit for about an hour in the fridge to combine the flavors. You may want to add a bit of onion powder to this as well but it is not necessary.

Just before your party cut the white sandwich bread with your cookie or biscuit cutter. Spread a thin amount of cream cheese mixture on top of bread and top with a cucumber slice.

Now the fun begins, you can either add another slice of the bread or leave the sandwich open faced. Top with an olive, sprigs of mint, or sprinkle with paparika.

Serve with your favorite tea recipe on your fanciest delicate china or go retro and serve tea and sandwiches in your summertime party dinnerware. However, you choose to decorate for your next tea party, it is sure to be a hit with cucumber sandwiches on the menu.
