Teacher to Get 40 Lashes Because of Teddy Bear
Another Example of the Twisted Islamic Mindset
She began teaching this past August at the Unity School, an independent primary school and her young charges apparently liked her. Following the prescribed national curriculum course that teaches the kids about animals, she asked a seven-year old girl to bring her teddy bear to class.
And then the trouble began. Big trouble. You see, she asked them to name the innocent teddy bear. The kids tallied up eight names, and "Mohamed" was the kids' overwhelming choice.
What happened next should ring a bell of fear amongst non-Muslims: she was arrested and imprisoned in Khartoum for naming the bear after the prophet Mohamed. Her crime? Dishonoring the prophet. Never mind that Muslims across the world name their kids Mohamed. In the eyes of the hypocritical Sudanese authorities, this is a horrendous crime requiring severe punishment.
Gillian is facing 40 lashes and/or imprisonment of six months in that hell hole. A man that was on the news the other night described his experience of being whipped, with his sentence being 50 lashes. He said the pain was incredible and was on the verge of passing out and losing count at 20 lashes. That's what this well-meaning teacher can look forward to, unless the world community brings these barbarians to their senses. If they have any.
Now here's the hypocrisy. The Sudanese government has done nothing to stop the rebel Muslim group, the Janjaweed, from their atrocities. Black, non-Muslim villagers report the Janjaweed riding into their village, slaughtering the men, raping the women and stealing whatever they can. This has been going on for some time now.
So murder and rape in the name of Islam doesn't dishonor the prophet nor the Quran? Beheading people doesn't dishonor Islam? Stoning women to death for adultery doesn't dishonor the prophet?
I don't know why this woman would even think of going to that hell hole in the first place, given the atrocities committed there. I guess she felt a need to help the children, and that's commendable. Hopefully, world opinion will pressure these stone-age nutcases into releasing her. Hopefully, this will send a signal to others to avoid Islamic countries in the first place.

Post a CommentGreat article Bob. The amount of douchebaggery is astounding. You're right. There just is no reasoning with people like that, which (though a bit off topic) is why I think the US should butt out of other nations' conflicts. They just don't all think rationally so what the hell are we to do? IMHO nothing. If they wanted to uprise from oppression and being troglodytes bad enough they would have done it on their own a long time ago. We should however help out unsuspecting foreigners who get caught up in that crap.
Further update: Due to the "sentence", Sudanese morons took to the streets, wielding axes, stones, etc., demanding she be executed. MasterPro: therein lies the problem. You can't negotiate, reason with, or have an intellectual dialog when their orientation is a stone-age,barbarian religious fanaticism. That's why the Dems are perceived as weak on the war on terror, as they seem to believe that singing Kumbaya around the campfire with murderous pinheads would actually accomplish something. And, I believe, that's why Kerry lost. He said he wanted to sit down with them and work things out diplomatically. In DemWorld, that spells appeasement to me.

As I see it, the Sudanese government shouldn't have these types of punishments especially on something so small as a teacher naming a teddy bear. This is dumb because the kids in the class wanted the teddy bear to be named that way. They should punish the so called Islamic kids also if they punish the teacher that knows nothing about Islam. Sure, Muslims can name their kids after Mohammed but they can't name their own teddy bear with that name. I believe that SOME Islamic governments and people take things to serious and believe the West is after them. Unless they have an "Islam for dummies" book, they shouldn't expect the world to know all about their religion and the supposible fact that we can't name a little stuffed animal as Mohammed.
Stories like this ALMOST make me think it's just alright to turn the Sudan into a big ocean along with all of the inbred retards that occupy that worthless space.
And we're trying to spread OUR form of government to these idiots? Kill them all and be done with it.
Bob, Excellent commentary! The good teacher, as so many in the West, is blind to the dangers of Islamic rule. If the West continues to bury their heads in the sand, regarding Islam, they will soon find the same removed from its host......

She has been sentenced today to 15 days in prison and deportation back to Britain. She's already served some time (10 days?) that will be deducted from the 15. Can you imagine if this poor woman was actually flogged?
