Teacher Beats Student

Is it True?

Teacher beats student sounds like a rumor but the story is true. A cell phone video captured the alleged beating of 13 year old Isaiah Johnson by science teacher Sherri Davis in a Houston classroom.

The incident took place at Jamie's House Charter school. Classmates are laughing at the beginning of the video because they think it is a joke. Quickly everyone was quiet and realized Sherri Davis was really assaulting Isaiah Johnson.

Classmate Janiqua Johnson shot the video on her cell phone. Apparently Isaiah Johnson was backed into a corner by Sherri Davis after teasing a female classmate. According to CBS/KHOU, Janiqua Johnson stated the teacher "snapped" and "just started beating him up."

Davis was placed on administrative leave in April when school officials found out about the incident. On Monday, she was fired when the officials saw the cell phone video.

School spokesperson Sue Jones said, "It was horrifying. There's just no other word for that."

There are also allegations being investigating other teachers that may have witnessed the alleged assault without intervening.

As a parent and grandparent, I find it alarming to find out that a teacher beats a student in 2010. It makes us all more concerned about the safety of our children.

Here is the upsetting video of teacher beats student, thankfully caught on a cell phone:

these teachers , especially the ones who teach at charter schools are underpaid. the kids they teach are there because there are deemed unfit for a regular school. its no wonder the teacher lost it. i just saw a report on fnc and noticed that the mother of this child is also a "wigger". this explains alot. now the mom will sue the school and become rich for her bad parenting skills. once they get a boatload of money, they will spend it all on high priced cars and jewelry instead of investing for the future. in the end, they will be broke and living off of the govt just as they probably are doing now. its a vicious circle with these people and i am sick of people like this. i can go on and on but you know where im getting at.
