Teaching young children and the next generation to live in a way that God intended is one of the most important jobs for parents and other adults today. Christian adults and parents should get there guidance from the Bible when teaching children about any topic. Respect is a great virtue to teach children today and there are many key Bible Verses to help your youngster to learn to respect. Feel free to use this as a Bible Study for a small group. Ten Key Bible Verses to Use for Teaching Children Respect

Philippians 2:3- Teaching Children Respect- Being Humble

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself;

Romans 12:10- Teaching Kids Respect- Love

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;

Romans 13:7 - Teaching Children Respect- Honor

Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

As you teach your children about respect, read through these Bible Verses with them and ask them what they mean. Children first need to respect God and the word of God and then the Bible is a great tool for parents to teach children from.     Respect is problematic with this generation. We thought we taught it to our kids but we have had our issues with it.
