Even if the Nederland doesn't win another game in the classic, they can go home knowing that they shook up the food chain, and twice defeated what many considered the favorite to win the whole thing.
I hope the same thing happens with the Aussies and they beat the Cubans. Too bad Canada didn't make it. Take down the Puerto Rican team, the Venezuelans, and the Mexicans. Take the big league windbags down a notch, eh?
Japan has a shot at it as they advance to Petco Park to face the winner of pool B (Cuba, or Mexico) but it's taken for granted that the USA "dream" team will now win the World Baseball Classic with the Dominicans out of the way. More big egos, and swellheaded national pride from overbearing shite don't stink player braggadocios. But hey, we are the greatest nation on earth, right? We'll get what we deserve, and, uh, win.
Watch the games on ESPN, or the MLB Network. Would you go all the way for the USA? Lift up your dress if the answer is YAY.
