Tears burned my eyes when
nightfall came and I knew that
tomorrow would come
Sadness will remain
in the front of my thoughts
through the daylight hours
Another day that
should not be a day without
sunshine or a hope
A young life is laid
to rest under a tree and
tears won't bring him back

This was written for the young lives lost in Iraq, to car accidents in increasing numbers , an illnes. I guess I just felt like writing a sad poem after researching the "Why Do We Cry?" article :)
