When words alone have no meaning

Compared to the sight of a tear

In a tear lies a wave of emotions

From the sea of our inner sole

Washed by our tenderest feelings

But like the tide, beyond our control

It speaks of intimate moments

Of times treasured and shared

Of moments when just being together

Brought happiness beyond compare

Of love and understanding

In a way no words can speak

When a touch meant a lifetime of pleasure

Sealed with a kiss on the cheek

Yes, a tear shed at parting

Says more in a million ways

Of all that we mean to each other

Than words can ever say."
