miles away yet we feel condoned to give our strength and compassion shown.
Beneath the city that holds history and grace a tragedy fell into place...
the earth moved under feet ..panic soon filled the streets.
Lives taken needlessly by mother natures wrath...an ending for some in the
destructible path.
Those left to pick up the pieces mourn in what remains...time it will take to
lift spirits so quickly lost...regain again at a dreadful cost.
Hands reaching out to hold and comfort those in need..words of understanding
given without greed.
The fear, the anger and the pain will ease in time ...faces redden and stained with grief
will hold in their memories and onto their belief.
What was taken on that day will find a new hope and a new way.
