In this technological age
For me trying
To send a text
A nightmare
A major exercise
In avoiding frustration
I will begin to compose
A message I want to write

The words I am attempting
To put onto the screen

Continue on
Two words later
And my phone
Begins predicting again
My thoughts are different
To those being
Predicted
I give up
Call the number
I find it much quicker
And far less
Stressful
