Consider the fact that everything you see around you is technology. Every created material thing is, in essence, a form of technology. When we think of technology, we think of phones, computers, etc. but every created material thing, is really technology. Then consider the sheer multitude of new material things being created every hour of everyday, across the globe. The more we create, the more we learn how to create and the old gets replaced with the new as new advancements are being discovered daily that enhance our lives and better mankind.
Humanity is evolving, or if you prefer a more spiritual term, were being born again. The birth process is the most difficult time, the darkest time, for a while in history, there was always the fear that the mother or the child would die from childbirth, and there were times that this indeed, did happen. Throughout most history though, the head and the feet emerged and the pain was forgotten for the shear joy of new life being brought into the world. Humanity is going to shed its old institutions and ancient philosophies, like a snake sheds its old skin. This rise in technology is actually a totally natural process. We are just simply entering the next phase in humanities history. The new era of peace and prosperity will rise right along with the advancements in technology, because the earth's resources will be harnessed through technology and available to all the world's people.
Most people are not aware of the true state of technology, this is because if technology were to rise to its true state of where it could and should be at the present, our old monetary system would already be obsolete. Even though money has caused an immeasurable amount of suffering and pain, it is not because of the evil of it that it will end, it will be because we have grown beyond it.
There are robots right now being created in Japan that do your laundry, cook your meals, (if you want it!) and clean the floors. There are machines with robotic arms doing many of the factory jobs, packaging breads and making furniture. As most know, all vehicles are now from assembly to production to roll out, ninety percent done by automation. The ten percent of the labor that is covered by management, simply oversees the entire production process. In 2009, robots and automation are taking the job of virtually anything that needs assembling. The world's first restaurant partially automated; opened about a year ago. No waiters, but people are still cooking in the kitchen. Society has already, as seen in the preceding examples, simply delegated these tasks to machines. The world is headed toward delegating most all tasks to machines. Maglev technology which created high-speed trains, can already take us safely and efficiently from city to city and soon, from country to country within hours; not days. There are vehicles being created as I write this article that run on air and water and technology is already underway for automated buildings. If we can get all this accomplished within the narrow limits of a monetary system, just think of what we can do beyond it!
Placed strategically, as you can plainly see in this article, is the extensive list of websites that you can go to find out about all the technology mentioned here. Some include interviews with experts in their fields revealing that it is money holding them back from bringing the technology they have had a hand in creating, to its full potential. Check it out for yourself.
Fear of the future is to be expected at such a time of great change, but technology is elevating us all and taking society to a place where the possibilities are endless. Hallelujah!
