One way to get your rank up, is to check out other blogs. You will want to read through the blog and leave some comments. Then, the person who wrote the blog will see and be notified that you have left a comment. They will see this and perhaps read your article in return. If you leave a lot of comments, you might make some new friends who will add your website to their list of websites. If you can link your site to somebody else's site you will get a higher rank. Technorati is all about rank and getting a higher authority.
You will get a higher authority if you have a higher authority. The more links that have linking your site to other sites will increase your authority. You will want to link other sites to your site and have people link your site to their site as well. This will increase your authority and the other person's authority as well. Leaving comments will help out your authority on Technorati.
You will want to add many different sites to your favorite lists. You will want to discus different blogs and comment on many different blogs. You will want to ping your site frequently every time that you change something about your site. You will also want to create content which is new and not very popular on Technorati. I'm still in the learning process when it comes to Technorati.
If you use WordPress, everything will be a lot easier for you. Often times, Technorati will explain how to do different things using your Wordpress account. If you want to make things a little bit easier I would suggest creating a blog using WordPress. Once you have done this you will need to create an account at www.technorati.com. Then you can start posting comments and linking to other sites to gain authority.
Make sure that you leave useful comments. Write at least about 4 sentences about the blog and make it positive. Nobody likes to hear negative comments unless they are somehow helpful in some way.
