TechTips - Find Out If a Website is Down or If It's Only You Having a Problem

TechTips
I hate when I go to one of my favorite websites and for some reason the page doesn't seem to be working, I start to wonder if it's something wrong with the website itself or if I have a problem with my computer or network. I often times will try to find out if the site is having issues by doing a Google search but often times don't ever find an answer. Well now there is a simple way to find out if a website is actually down or if it's just you having the issue. You can check it out using the free website http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com, a simple quick way to verify if a site is working.

Usually if Google is working and the website is not I usually assume that the website is having an issue. This might not always be the case though, sometimes for various reasons a site might have issues with say a single ISP, your computer, or for many other possible reasons it won't load just for you. Well the site http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com is here to let you know for sure if the website is down or if it's just you that it isn't working for.

The site is very simple and straightforward with nothing to get in your way, you simple go to the site, enter the URL you are trying to access, hit submit and it will tell you if the site is down or if it's only you that that site isn't working for. In just seconds you can verify if a site has a problem.

Performing a search at http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com is much easier than trying to search Google and find a posting somewhere that someone states a single specific site is down on the exact day and time you are having the issue. Typically websites won't be down for more than just a few minutes at a time so it's nice to have a quick and easy tool like http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com to make sure the site is in fact down.

This website has a lot of value and I can't believe I had never stumbled across it before now. I wanted to share it with everyone else so you too can quickly know if your favorite websites are down due to a website problem or if it's just you that the site isn't loading for. No one wants to spend a lot of time trouble shooting something that really isn't an issue they can fix (like a down website); this should save us all some time.

Check out the site and let me know what you think.
