Teen Choice Awards 2011 - Nominees & Updates

The popular TV favorite 'Gossip Girl' makes yet another appearance on the list of Teen Choice Awards nominations for 2011. Also, featured once again from the Gossip Girl cast is TV hunk Chace Crawford with a Choice TV Actor: Drama nod. The Hollywood actor who turns 26 years old on the 18th of July would be pleased with yet another win after back to back nods and wins since 2008.

In 2008, Crawford took home the winning Choice TV Breakout Star Male at the Teen Choice Award. There was no stopping the talented actor after that with the womanizing role of Nate Archibald firmly under his belt, Crawford set his sights on taking the world cinematic filmmaking by storm as well. With lead roles in films like 'Twelve' and 'Loaded,' Crawford shows that his acting range is ready for any role put his way.

The talented actor is said to be eyeing only serious roles and does not want to go the way of Chandler Bing type casting. So, don't expect a lot of romantic comedies from this serious actor. He can next be seen in 'Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding' co-starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Catherine Keener.

Meanwhile, the wait won't be too long as the results of your votes will be revealed during the Teen Choice Awards Show held on 7th August, 2011. Except the big names of Hollywood, music and even sports to be in attendance. The star-studded event is expected to also announce the award shows' host over the next few days. A favorite at every award show, Taylor Swift is nominated in the category for Best Breakup song.
