Nina Martin (Nathalia Ramos) just arrived from the United States. She's excited about attending a boarding school in the land of Harry Potter, and when she first arrives, she's struck by the physical appearance of the school and welcomes herself to Hogwarts. Disappointment starts to set in when her new roommate is anything but welcoming. An orphan, Nina misses her grandmother, with whom she'd been living since the death of her parents years before, and the rude reception she gets from her roommate hits her hard. Although she's attending the boarding school on a scholarship, unfortunately she received the notice late and arrived two weeks into the term. Nina is adventurous and curious; she likes investigating mysteries and solving puzzles.
Joy Mercer (Klariza Clayton) disappeared the day Nina arrived. After being summoned from French class, she left as a reluctant passenger in a black car. Before her disappearance, she was a fun-loving girl and major Robert Pattinson fan who slept with a stuffed animal and used stickers to spell her name on the outside of her cell phone.
Patricia Williamson (Jade Ramsey) feels that she's the only one who remembers Joy, and this offends her greatly. She constantly accuses the others of forgetting all about her friend. She's obsessed with Nina, the "newbie," whom she sees as the usurper. She's convinced Nina had something to do with Joy's sudden disappearance, and she's determined to make her talk. Patricia is bossy, and for the most part, she gets her way. Joy's disappearance bothers her, and she won't give up until she finds out what really happened to her best friend.
Amber Millington (Ana Mulvoy Ten) is a bit of an airhead. She's dating Mick, and in her opinion, they're an alpha couple. Unfortunately, she's insecure about their relationship. The question is whether her jealousy and insecurity cause Mick to behave the way he does, or whether his behavior is the reason for her feelings. She jumps to conclusions and has a tendency to speak without thinking.
Mick Campbell (Bobby Lockwood) is a jock. He's dating Amber but isn't completely devoted to her. While Amber is quick to jump to conclusions, Mick is quick to go along with them, and anyone but the ditzy Amber would realize that he just says what she wants to hear.
Mara Jaffray (Tasie Dhanraj) is a shy, smart girl. She has a crush on Mick but doesn't like to admit it since he's dating her friend. The introverted Mara often has trouble making conversation, which is a problem when she's asked to provide a distraction.
Alfie Lewis (Alex Sawyer) is the class clown. He's always cutting up, playing practical jokes, and just trying to get people's attention in general. Alfie is a good guy who is lonely and starved for attention. He also has a crush on Amber.
Jerome Clarke (Eugene Simon) is the class schemer. He always has something up his sleeve and seems to have no boundaries. He sells his old homework assignments to younger kids and doesn't mind resorting to blackmail when he learns something he can use to his advantage.
Fabian Rutter (Brad Kavanagh) is a nice guy who readily defends and befriends Nina, despite Patricia's disapproval. In fact, he soon develops a crush on her, although he's loathe to admit it. He breaks the rules and helps her investigate the mystery and look for the treasure hidden in Anubis House.

Post a CommentMy favorite show!
Excellent :)
Thanks for the comment, Allana. I've actually been thinking about doing just that. :-)
When I saw the commercials for the season premier it looked intriguing. Unfortunately don't have time to squeeze it in to our viewing schedule unless the kids happen to watch it - and it didn't catch their interest as much as it caught mine. Ah well. Maybe you'll provide some synopsis ;D
