Teens in Business

It's Never Too Early to Start!

Right now with the recession, it's tough for just about anyone to keep their heads above water. While jobs are scarce, and prices are high, the economy is stalling to a screeching halt. It's a vicious cycle; people don't have enough money to buy, and as a result businesses are not making enough money to keep all their employees, or go out of business altogether. While people are loosing their jobs, there are more and more people who don't have money to spend to keep the economy moving. This all sounds so depressing, but there is a solution!

I've found one, and I'd like to say that there are many opportunities for teenagers to start a business today that will help them stay well above the recession. For some regular people, the recession is not happening; and I'm not talking about rich guys or CEO's. People often refer to it as the pyramid scheme (or scam), but come on, who are you kidding? Everything else out there is just as much of a pyramid. I'll refer to it as MLM, or Multi-Level Marketing, where you can not only make money by selling, but also by recruiting people who are also selling, and make dividents off their work. Now, I don't know of anyone who wouldn't like to make money while someone else is working, but this is just the way right now. When layoffs are on a rise, and job losses are skyrocketing, this is the only industry that flourishes. It makes absolute sense! You sell to make money. You show a few people how they can make money by selling, and in return, you get a percentage of that. Teach them to recruit people who sell to make money, and so on. Before you know it, you have a large group of people working with you, and you're making more money then you could have by working 9-5!

This is a lucrative way to make money. First off, if you're young, and need some money, there are many companies that have special incentives to start making money on the first month. Usually, businesses cost tens, and even hundreds of thousands of dollars to open the door, and you won't see profit for the next 3-5 years! Many companies out there offer a partnership where you can start making money right away. I don't mean get rich ont he first day, but I do mean making an income the first month. Not just cover the expense, but also having some green in your wallet as well. Some companies even offer a partnership at no cost!

Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with having a part-time, or even a full-time job and running your own MLM business. If you're planning on having a part-time job, you can easily run an MLM business. The best part about it is you socialize; you work with people. That way you don't have to worry about becoming scially challenged by working yourself to death. I've met many people who successfully created an exceptional income while working full-time, sometimes, even working on multiple jobs!

So, here's a closing thought: for newly graduates, or those who are about to graduate, or even people who have long ago graduated, it's never to late to start your own MLM business. Find the right company to work with, that has a product line that you'll be able to successfully sell, and work on it. If you have no prior experience in business, or in sales, there's always someone who will train you. MLM is not all about one particular person, it's about the whole group working together. And unlike in the traditional business, those you train will actually make you successful, and not run off with the information to open up a rival company.
