Tekken 4 is the middle installment of the Tekken life line. It comes in two years after Heihachi failed to catch Ogre (main character of Tekken 3) to blood samples so he may find out how to obtain the Devil Gene. Well basically Heihachi sends his little mini army out to find more information ( the Tekken Force ) they track the last remaining corpse where-abouts to the G Corporation. As the Tekken Force raids the G corporations, they run into Kazuya (the corpse they were looking for) who kills them all, oh i don't think I put in there that Kazuya is Heihachi's Son; that he tried to kill in Tekken 3.

As you can see Tekken 4 as more than enough to keep you on the edge of your seat at all times, plus new characters ( one of my favorites is a newbie ) and the Tekken Force ( a one player adventure ) . Tekken Force is a side game ( if you played other Tekken games you would know that almost any Tekken game has a side game) basically you run through stage after stage of enemies until you get to the main boss ( fight through sub boss on the way of course), you can pick up power ups and food to keep your heath up as you go, to be honest I haven't beat this mode on ultra hard yet, so that should tell you that it as easy as it seems, was a damn good add on to the game, I've found myself playing Tekken Force more than I play the story mode. Tekken 4 also has modes like Time Attack, Team battle, Survival and Practice; not to mention the Training mode that in my opinion is like the only thing out there which you can have fun and learn even more moves and how to perfect them. You know when I think about it the practice mode shouldn't even be there for the simple reason that in the Training mode your practicing your moves against the clock, it kind of redundant, but it works.

Tekken 4 has everything you can want in a Video Game, family problems, death, and a damn good story line that stretches from Tekken 1 up to the next Tekken thats soon to come ( Tekken 5, which i haven't got yet, but it's best you don't go it that until you play the first one), when you think about it, all Tekken games are giant soap operas, very Very good soaps.

So this Review ends where the last one left off Tekken 4 is a must have for your fighting collection, if you don't got, GO GET IT!

Display Attack Names during game.
In Arcade/Time Attack/Team Battle/VS mode, press Select during the game and you will see the names of your attack moves. Every time you enter a command attack, its Japanese name will be displayed.
