Television Reality Shows Preview for Fall 2009
Old Favorites Including a New Season of Survivor and the Biggest Loser Set to Air
The Biggest Loser - NBC Network
With the fall looming around the corner, it's time to take a closer look at reality shows that are set to air. On the NBC Network I'm pleased to say we have a new season of The Biggest Loser Couples. After the amazing weightloss results that have been produced by contestants on this show, The Biggest Loser reminds us all the importance of weighloss while discovering the source of why we choose to make unhealthy eating decisions.
I watch this show for a few reasons. I love watching the transformations of the contestants, but I also watch the program to remind myself to keep working out, to keep trying to eat healthy, and to try to make myself the most healthy version of myself that I can. This show reminds us of all of these healthy ideas and trainers Bob and Jillian, give healthy tips throughout the program. Everyone can learn from The Biggest Loser.
Survivor - CBS Network
Airing in September, Survivor brings us to the landscape of Samoa. Survivor airs on the CBS network. The host of Survivor, Jeff Probst recently was nominated for an Emmy for hosting this pheat of surviving.
I've watching almost every episode of Survivor througout it's history. Although the plot is getting tired with all the contestants set for a tropical island to survive in the outdoors, the interaction between all of the contestants, as well as the interesting challenges, and the survival aspects of the game, draw in viewers. The elimination of players one-at-a-time through tribal council is interesting. I want to know who's going next. I want to know which alliances are going to last, and I want to know who can survive.
Shark Tank - ABC Network
From executive producer Mark Burnett, that brought us shows like Survivor and the Apprentice, Shark Tank is set to air on the ABC Network. Shark Tank introduces us to panel of millionaires that are looking to invest money in new ideas that they think can make money. Ordinary people will come forward one-at-a-time and present their ideas to the panel. If the panel thinks there the potential to make money, they will negotiate an offer for their product. This could even mean, an offer of a million dollars!

With the core networks set for their fall lineups, our favorites of the past, as well as the new program of Shark Tank, will keep us entertained once again with reality television.
