The one hour television crime series known as "The Black Donnellys" revolves around four Irish Catholic brothers and their dealings with organized crime. "The Black Donnellys" debuted on NBC in February of 2007 though due to lack of ratings the series was canceled just three months later in May. NBC aired six of the thirteen episodes they filmed but the remaining unaired episodes can be found on NBC's website. The series starred Jonathan Tucker, Tom Guiry, Billy Lush and Michael Stahl-David.

Jonathan Tucker

Jonathan Tucker the actor who played "Tommy Donnelly" on the television series, "The Black Donnellys" was born on May 31, 1982 in Boston, Massachusetts to Paul Hayes Tucker and Maggie Moss. His father is a university professor while his mother is a marketing analyst. As a young child, Tucker spent a couple of years in Paris, France. He attended Park School in Brookline, Massachusetts as well as Thacher School in Ojai, California.

Tucker made his film debut in 1994 with the western comedy, "The Night Before Christmas". Two years later, he appeared in "Two If By Sea" and Barry Levinson's crime drama, "Sleepers". In 1998, Tucker starred in the television movie entitled, "Mr. Music" which earned him a Young Artist Award nomination. Film work followed such as, "The Virgin Suicides" (2000), "The Deep End" (2001), "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003), "Criminal" (2004), "Hostage" (2005) and "Pulse" (2006). Television work include, "The Practice" (2001), "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (2003), "Six Feet Under" (2004) and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2006). In 2007, Tucker won the role of, "Tommy Donnelly" on the television series, "The Black Donnellys". Tucker's most current role to date is the 2008 horror film, "The Ruins" which is in pre-production.

Tom Guiry

Thomas John Guiry the actor who played "Jimmy Donnelly" on the television series, "The Black Donnellys" was born on October 12, 1981 in Trenton, New Jersey. His father works for the phone company while his mother is a nurse. He has two siblings. Guiry attended St. Gregory the Great Catholic Elementary School as well as Notre Dame High School in New Jersey. In 1999, Guiry became a father for the first time to a son.

In 1993, Guiry made his television debut in the drama, "A Place to Be Loved". That same year, he appeared in the family film, "The Sandlot". The cast from the film won a Young Artist Award for "Outstanding Youth Ensemble in a Motion Picture". Film work include, "Lassie" (1994), "U-571" (2000), "Black Hawk Down" (2001), "Mystic River" (2003), "Strangers with Candy" (2005) and "Black Irish" (2006) which earned him a Method Fest Award. Television work include, "Law & Order" (1998), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2002), "The Jury" (2004) and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2006). In 2007, Guiry won the role of "Jimmy Donnelly" on the television series, "The Black Donnellys". Guiry had originally auditioned for the role of "Tommy Donnelly" but the part went to actor, Jonathan Tucker. Guiry's most current role to date is the 2007 film drama, "Yonkers Joe" which is in pre-production.

Billy Lush

William Paul Lush the actor who played "Kevin Donnelly" on the television series, "The Black Donnellys" was born on November 30, 1981 in New Haven, Connecticut. Lush attended high school in Coral Springs, Florida where he appeared in the play, "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying". Lush studied with American Place Theatre founder Wynn Handman in New York. Stage work include, "Cityscapes", "Communion" and "Entertaining Mr. Sloane".

Lush made his television debut in the 2002 crime drama entitled, "Hack". More television work followed such as, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2002), "Without a Trace" (2005), "ER" (2005), "Six Feet Under" (2005), "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2003-2005) and "Huff" (2006). Film work include, "Stateside" (2004), "Beautiful Dreamer" (2006) and "Arc" (2006). In 2007, Lush won the role of, "Kevin Donnelly" on the television series, "The Black Donnellys". Lush's most current role to date in the 2007 film drama, "One Night".

Michael Stahl-David

Michael Stahl-David appeared as "Sean Donnelly" on the television series, "The Black Donnellys". Stahl-David has attended Lincoln Park High School as well as Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois where earned a bachelor of arts degree. He has also studied at The School at Steppenwolf Theatre where he appeared on stage in "One Arm".

Stahl-David made his film debut in the 2001 drama entitled, "New Port South". Two years later, he appeared in the comedy drama, "Uncle Nino" with Joe Mantegna and Anne Archer. In 2007, Stahl-David won the role of "Sean Donnelly" on the television series, "The Black Donnellys". Stahl-David had originally auditioned for the role of "Kevin Donnelly" but the part went to actor, Billy Lush. His most current role to dates in the 2008 film drama, "The Project" which is in post-production.
