The television series known as "Two and a Half Men" is a half hour comedy revolving around "Charlie Harper" who's single life is disturbed when his brother moves in along with his son. The series has won an Emmy and received two Golden Globe nominations.

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen the actor who plays "Charlie Harper" on the television series, "Two and a Half Men" was born Carlos Irwin Estevez on September 3, 1965 to Martin and Janet Sheen. His father is a well known actor. Sheen has two brothers, Emilio and Ramon along with one sister, Renee. All siblings are in the acting business as well.

Sheen's debut was in the 1974 television movie drama alongside his father entitled, "The Execution of Private Slovik". His debut into film came ten years later with, "Red Dawn". Sheen became known for his roles in, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (1986), Oliver Stone's "Platoon" (1986), "Wall Street" (1987), "Young Guns" (1988) along side brother Emilio, "Major League" (1989), "Men at Work" (1990), "Hot Shots!" (1991), "The Rookie" (1990), "Hot Shots! Part Deux" (1993), "Major League II" (1994) and "Scary Movie 3" (2003).

In 2000, Sheen won the lead role replacing Michael J. Fox on the comedy series, "Spin City" which earned him a Golden Globe. The series ended in 2002. The following year, Sheen starred as "Charlie Harper" on the television comedy series, "Two and a Half Men". Sheen's performances have earned him an Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations. "Two and a Half Men" just ended their fourth season in May of 2007.

In the early 90's Sheen battled with drug problems which caused him to overdose in 1998. He had a daughter in 1985 with then girlfriend, Paula Profit. In 1995 Sheen married model Donna Peele but the one year marriage was short lived. In 2002, Sheen married for the second time to actress, Denise Richards. The marriage produced two daughters and ended in divorce in 2006.

Jon Cryer

Jon Cryer the actor who plays, "Alan Harper" on the television series, "Two and a Half Men" was born on April 16, 1965 in New York City, New York to David and Gretchen Cryer. Both of Cryer's parents are Broadway actors. Cryer has two sisters. He has attended Bronx High School of Science in Bronx, New York along with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England.

Cryer made his film debut in the 1984 romantic comedy, "No Small Affair" with Demi Moore. Cryer has starred in films such as, "Pretty in Pink" (1986), "Dudes" (1987), "Hot Shots!" (1991), "The Waiter" (1993)" Holy Man" (1998) and "Glam" (2001). In 1995, Cryer helped co-produce and co-write the comedy film, "The Pompatus of Love". Cryer has appeared in short lived television shows such as, "The Famous Teddy Z" (1989-1990), "Partners" (1995-1996), "Getting Personal" (1998) and "The Trouble With Normal" (2000-2001). In 2003, Cryer won the role of "Alan Harper" on the television comedy series, "Two and a Half Men" which earned him an Emmy nomination.

In 1995, Cryer married British actress, Sarah Trigger. The nine year marriage produced one son. As of early 2007, Cryer became engaged to entertainment reporter, Lisa Joyner.

Angus T. Jones

Angus T. Jones the young actor who plays, "Jake Harper" on the television series, "Two and a Half Men" was born on October 8, 1993 in Austin, Texas to Kelly Jones and Carey Claypool. Jones's film debut was in the 1999 drama entitled, "Simpatico". Other films followed such as, "See Spot Run" (2001) with Paul Sorvino, "The Rookie" (2002), "Bringing Down the House" (2003) and "George of the Jungle 2" (2003). Television work include, "ER" (2001), "Audrey's Rain" (2003) and "The Christmas Blessing" (2005).

In 2003, Jones won the role of, "Jake Harper" on the television comedy series, "Two and a Half Men" which earned him two Young Artist Awards for the years 2004 and 2006.
