Television's Best Nerds Exposed

Television has been part of our lives for many years. In fact, it could be claimed that television is a cultural staple. Moreover, it might be safe to say that some people would have a hard time without television. The reason for this claim involves the fact that there have been many classic characters on television and some of these classic television characters have been nerds. Television nerds make the shows that they are on more enjoyable. Therfore, here are television's best nerds.

1. Samuel " Screech" Powers: Samuel "Screech" Powers is a nerd on Saved By the Bell. He makes the list of television's best nerds because he is very smart, sweeet, and socially inept. However, Zach and the rest of the Saved by the Bell gang couldn't have gotten through the day, or exams without them. He makes the best television nerds list because he named all of his ants in his ant farm.

2. Steven Urkel: Steven Urkel is a nerd on Family Matters. He makes the list of television's best nerds because he is a kid genius but he wears thick glasses, has an annoying laugh and snort, and is an annoying next door neighbor to the Winslow's. He is also a best television nerd because he wears suspenders. Steven Urkel is also a very sweet and caring nerd.

3. Barney Fife: Barney Fife is a nerd on Andy Griffith. Barney Fife makes this best nerds on television list because despite the fact that he works as the deputy in Mayberry it is very apparent that he has no business having a gun or any kind of responsibility. However, he also makes this list because he is a good and sweet friend to Andy and the rest of the people in Mayberry.

4. Sheldon Cooper: Sheldon Cooper is a nerd on The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon Cooper makes the list of television's best nerds because all he can talk about is physics. He even uses physics to talk about everyday situations. Sheldon makes this list because he annoys his friends with his abundance of physics knowledge.

5. Randy Disher: Randy Disher is a nerd on Monk. Randy Disher makes this list because he seems to have no knowledge of how to work at the police station but he has been on the police force in San Francisco for years. Randy cluelessness about how to do his job makes him a loveable nerd and Monk's comic relief.

6. Vinton Harper: Vinton Harper is a nerd on Mama's Family. Vinton Harper makes the list of television's best nerds because he means well but he always messes things up. He is always getting yelled at by Mama for being a grown man with a wife and kids who still has to live at home. Vinton nerdiness makes him loveable.

7. Freddy Benson: Freddy Benson is a nerd on I Carly. Freddy Benson makes the list of television's best nerds because he loves technology and is the technology advisor on I Carly. He also makes this list because he is smart, sweet, and a bit clueless dealing with girls. However, Freddie Benson is a hunky nerd.

8. Alan Harper: Alan Harper is a nerd on Two and a Half Men. He makes this list because he means well but his family is always making fun of him. Jake, his son, thinks that his uncle Charlie is much cooler and his ex wife, Judith is always yelling at him for messing up. In addition, Alan Harper is also socially inept when dealing with women.

9. Justin Russo: Justin Russo is a nerd on Wizards of Waverly Place. Justin Russo makes this list because he loves to study robotics and for the wizards competion. In short, Justin Russo is a hunky bookworm who has very little luck with girls.

10. Rerun: Rerun is a nerd on What's Happening. Rerun makes the list of television's best neards because of his fashion sense. Rerun always wears an orange beret and suspenders.
