Now the Bush administration's case against Iran has been largely discredited by America's own intelligence community. According the latest National Intelligence Estimate, Iran halted its nuclear weapons program back in the fall of 2003. It went on to say that Iran is less determined to develop nuclear weapons than had been previously believed.
But don't take my word for it. Read the public version of the report yourself:
National Intelligence Estimate, Iran: Nuclear Intentions and Capabilities
It is vital that every member of Congress reads this important document and understands its connotations. Americans for Reasonable Foreign Policy is sponsoring an online petition that asks members of Congress to just that. They will also be asked to go on the record as saying that they read the report and are opposed to military action against Iran.
Sign the petition here:
Hey Congress! Say "No" to Military Action Against Iraq
At the end of December the petition will be sent out to members of Congress. They will be asked to respond, and their responses will be posted here.
Let Congress know that we are watching!

Post a CommentAnd what if he's right? You didn't believe the initial and continous reports coming out before the Iraq invasion, but you jump to believe this report. Remeber the "final" answer to Iraq: No weapons of mass destruction. Just recently, we "found" samples of biological weapons from Iraq, stored at the UN. Maybe we should wait and see what comes up? The Democrats got mad when we invaded Iraq with "faulty" evidence. If our intelligence is faulty this time, there would be a nuclear doomsday. I hope that this is not the case.
David, Bush is becoming scarier by the week - note how he still refuses to believe the new report. Heaven forbid he's actually WRONG!
