Have you ever wanted to head your own studio? Produce your own TV shows? Now Facebook offers you the chance to run your own studio with Tellywood where you can win over the masses by producing shows they want to see.

The Setup

To begin you get a lot, a main building and a level one satellite dish. From there you must build your first show, your first crew (hire friends) and get your first viewers. Over time you will upgrade your back lots to include special FX, distribution, script writers, and more!

Advancement

Your first upgrade comes at 200,000 viewers. The best strategy is to buy the buildings based on how many stars each has. The stars directly relate to the viewers, and cash, bonuses each building gives you. There is also the option for "double boost" using Facebook coins. 11 FB coins will get you a double boost, which equates directly to more money and viewers.

Customize your lot!

Buying additional items such as the wiener mobile will get you increased money as well. As in other such games, you must keep the actors happiness up in order to gain maximum output. This is achieved through these shops and decorations. Most of the shops earn you money as well so it is a good idea to stock up often and early.

Paparazzi

These pesky little star hounds are invading your set! Unlike in real life, these munchkins will reward you for getting rid of them, not sue you. Clicking on these pests gives you a paparazzi point. Twenty paparazzi points gets you one additional "Production point." PP are the energy of this game. You start with 10 at first level and are given two additional points every level. These points only regenerate 1every 15 minutes (upgrading the satellite tower will speed this up), so having a way to instantly regenerate points is a great feature. The paparazzi are also located on your friends properties, so lots of friends is a definite perk.

Overall

This is a good game to play, not great. I would say the redeeming feature is that anyone who ever wanted to run a studio will love playing Tellywood on Facebook. Anyone not interested need not apply as there just isn't enough to keep you interested beyond the first few levels.
