One of my main concerns in the beginning was the money. The temperpedic mattress is expensive; no denying that. Though I had no regrets after the purchase was made. In fact, getting back problems and being sick is more expensive than just a bed. It's simply an incredible transition from regular mattress to temperpedic. You don't even have to worry about getting up anymore. Now, every spot's a comfy spot. I've gotten to sleep at least 30 minutes earlier every night since I bought it. The temperpedic material is perfectly engineered to comfort every body shape and size. Additionally, it forms to the bodies of both you and your spouse.
What I've also found is that sleeping on the temperpedic mattress has given me more sleep in less time. An 8 hour night on a conventional mattress feels like, well 8 hours. While 8 hours sleep on the temperpedic mattress feels more like a wholesome 9. It was originally built to be this soft and leisurely to take g-force pressure away from astronauts. When Swedish scientists realized the great potential of the material, they went straight to work. After nearly a decade and millions of research dollars later, they created the "ultimate sleep surface". That's what makes the temperpedic mattress the perfection it is today.
The way it molds to your body is supposedly helpful to pressure points. Instead of pinching off circulation, the temperpedic material redistributes your weight. I've woken up with fewer pains, but they haven't completely dissipated. I'd like to point out though that that was the only small flaw I've run into so far. All in all I'd have to say that temperpedic mattresses are essentially as advertised.
