1. Baby's First Christmas Ornament - Start a stocking stuffer tradition for your one year old by buying a first Christmas ornament as a stocking stuffer. Each year you can add a new special ornament to the stocking.
2. Teething rings - Even if your one year old has teeth already he or she will be adding more in the next year. A new teething ring will be a welcome addition when those days arrive.
3. Cheerio or Gerber snacks - Add a snack stocking stuffer for your one year old if he or she is a tablefood eater. Individual snack packs make a good stocking stuffer.
4. A New Toothbrush-You may be able to find a character toothbrush for a stocking stuffer for your one year old. Encouraging dental care at this young age will set good habits for the future.
5. Bath toys- New bath toys are always fun and the flexibleness of the small squeeze type toys make them a perfect fit for the one year old's stocking.
6. Bath Mitt- Many favorite characters and animals are displayed on baby bath mitts. These make bath time fun and fit in a stocking with ease.
7. Stuffed Animals- Small stuffed animals are a good addition to a Christmas stocking. Just be sure the one selected for your one year old's stocking does not have small pieces and parts which could be swallowed.
8. Rattles: Rattles come in many shapes and sizes. There are many colorful ones and many with tactile parts which will help with your on year old's development.
9. Slippers- These may take more space than the average stocking stuffer but your one year old will love a pair of slippers with his favorite character on them.
10. Soft Baseball- Your little guy and even your little lady will enjoy a soft ball to throw around as they learn to toss their toys. The ball should fit nicely in the toe of the stocking
Christmas stockings can be a fun filled family tradition from year to year. If this is your first child, consider things that you may build on each year to make the stocking stuffer tradition even more fun.

Post a CommentHmm. unfortunatley this didnt help much, my daughter doesnt use teething toys, she never took to them. Also I don't understand why everything has to be tied to "a favourite character" My daughter doesnt watch a bunch of tv or have many toys with "characters" on them, so she doesnt have a favourite. Thank goodness, I am not a fan of characters either.
I do like the idea of a ball or something in the toe of the sock, growing up my parents would put a madarin orange in the toe, and then once we got older it turned into a terry's chocolate orange! Yum!
This brought back memories of when my kids were younger, oh how they grow.
Awesome tips for those with little ones :)
