Watered down apple juice tastes fine. Tastes pretty much the same. If you do that to orange juice, the results just don't match up. It tastes downright funky.
2. There have been days that I didn't brush their hair.
It stands on end all day, and makes me laugh. I would go through a bottle of detangler a week if I didn't take at least one day off.
3. They've eaten Happy Meals and survived.
They don't eat them a lot, but get them as a treat once or twice a month. We save the toys for stocking stuffers, and everyone is happy all around.
4. If I'm in a super hurry, and we aren't going to be gone long, sometimes I skip the sock and go straight for the shoe.
That's right, we got gas and they weren't wearing socks. So sue me.
5. They watch TV.
It's not a babysitter, it doesn't hold their attention that long. But the effects of Nemo and Wall-e while going down to sleep are just to great to pass up.
6. We have Pajama Fridays.
If we don't have anything planned, we get to stay in our pajamas all day long.
7. I make them play alone.
I want them to be independent, so I make them play without me for thirty minutes twice a day. I put the gate up in their room and let them go at it. Of course I keep and eye on them, but I'm not interacting.
8. They get spankings.
If they hit, bite, throw food on the floor, or purposely disobey, they get hand smacks.
9. They make me mad.
I yell at them. It makes me feel bad, but it get's the point across.
10. I'm tired of changing pooped diapers.
Now when I see them trying to go, I hold them over the toilet. It's working.
