Ten Great Quarterbacks Who Never Led a Team in the Super Bowl

Anthony Odom
1. Archie Manning - just imagine what this all-pro could have done if he'd had a line.....and receivers....and running backs.....and......you get the idea.

2. Steve Bartkowski - Laugh all you want, but this guy made the Falcons Super Bowl contenders and led them to a 12-4 record.

3. Danny White - White had the unfortunate luck of playing in the same league as Joe Montana.

4. Randall Cunningham - He re-defined the quarterback position.

5. Warren Moon - What if....he'd not spent his early years in Canada...and his late years in Houston.

6. Dan Pastorini - Kept running into the Steel Curtain. Geez, him and Danny White both.....must be a Texas thing.

7. Dan Fouts - He was good....but for one game anyway, The Bengals' Ken Anderson was better. Of course, some kid named "Montana" would have been waiting for him on the other side of that game.

8. Bernie Kosar - I know he had the backup role in Dallas and took a snap or two...but his chance at immortality was shot to hell by some guy named "Elway."

9. Sonny Jurgensen - What if it had been he instead of Billy Kilmer against the "No-Name" Defense?

10. Bobby Hebert - He made the Saints good, but Bill Parcells' Giants, Bill Walsh's 49ers, Mike Ditka's Bears, and Joe Gibbs' Redskins were better.

I agree mostly with this list. Archie Manning would have won with most teams, Bartkowski was very underrated, and so was Danny White.
