2. Don't underestimate the value of following through with the promises you've made. You can have a proven track record of producing results but don't become so relaxed that you don't always finish what you've started.
3. Being addicted to praise can be a growth killer. Compliments are a great boost to the ego. However, growing as a person does not always come with any praise or approval.
4. Saying please and thank you are absolutely necessary. A vocal sign of appreciation to others speaks volumes in regards to your character.
5. Attractiveness can only get you so far. At some point what you bring to the table outside of the superficial department will become a frequent topic of discussion.
6. Manage your expectations or you will become frequently disappointed. Nothing will ever be perfect and people will let you down even if not purposely. Expect greatness but be humbled by the imperfect side of human nature.
7. Time is easily lost so treat each moment as critical tomorrow does not matter as much as the present.
8. Education is an enabler to success but not the definition of it
9. Compete with grace if you lose yourself in trying to win you may find yourself being the unpleasant someone you never desired to become.

Great message to live by.
These are great. Like them all but I really like number 8 and number 10. Thanks for the words of wisdom.
WOW! These words are so true. Thank you for articulating your insight so eloquently.
Great lessons there! I think gratitude, appreciation and humility are keys to successful life.
This was so awesome and beautiful! People that are always so full of themselves always end up feeling empty!
I agree with all of these... I try not to take myself too seriously..
Excellent points here A.M. As Mike pointed out (in his usual fun manner) below, your work is always right on point. :-)
Thanks to you Mike and your twin brother. You always know how to make me laugh and smile at the same time. :-)
This note is just to express my agreement with the note below from my twin brother. He is so humble!
