Ten Movies Every Guy Should Watch to Impress a Girl

Wanna Learn How to Make Her Heart Go A-flutter? Bite the Bullet and Watch These Chick Flicks!

Amy Gayle
I admit it, I love chick flicks! I will be the first in line for a new film that is a guaranteed heart flutter. Men wonder why women love these movies so much, well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist! This is what we wish men were really like! I always tell people that men are not what they are like in romance novels or movies. Well, I shouldn't say all men. Some men are a dream, but they are few and far between.

Now I am a married woman, and my husband defies what most of my opinions about men are. He's not romantic in the ways I wish he was, but he will do anything I ask. He will do laundry and clean the bathroom, but he doesn't plan romantic getaways or bring me home flowers. That's okay, though. Maybe he should watch these movies and take notes, too!

Onto the list...Now, boys, these movies made me look at these men and put myself in the actress's shoes! I would say, "Now why can't men really be like that???" So, bite the bullet and grab some popcorn. These movies will give you tips on how to become a romantic stud that any woman would love to be involved with!

-"Return to Me"-David Duchovny is every woman's dream in this movie. From the simple way he asks Minnie Driver's character if he can hold her hand, to the way he just chills with her odd family. He made my heart pitter patter!

-"The Lake House"-Oh my God! I am not a big Keanu Reeves fan, but I fell in love with him in this movie! Sandra Bullock mentioned missing the trees at the lake house, then Keanu's character goes and plants her one in front of her building! COME ON, MEN! Then he ends up waiting years for her. When they finally get their first kiss, I felt like he was kissing me!

-"50 First Dates"-Now, every man should love this movie! It's an Adam Sandler movie! He makes Drew Barrymore fall in love with him every single day. The simple little things he does for her add up to a whole lotta love from her character!

-"Titanic"-I know it's cheesy, but come on...the boy does everything in his power for this woman! He even dies for her.

-"Sense & Sensibility"-This is one of my all time favorite movies! If you can understand the Jane Austen English-time language, you will find this romance both funny and heart warming!

-"The Wedding Date"-Although the guy plays an escort in this film, what happens is that he does everything the woman wants and makes her feel fantastic! Every woman just wants to feel like she's the only thing in her guy's world.

-"The Notebook"-Okay guys, buck up and watch this film. I thought the old people were slightly cheesy, but the love story is phenomenal!

-"Notting Hill"-Okay, so Hugh Grant is probably the last person that any man wants to watch on his night with nothing to do, but he is incredible in this film. How he sweetly cares for Julia Roberts' character is amazing.

-"You've Got Mail"-It's no wonder that women love men on the internet. They feed them all these sweet and loving lines, then you meet and they aren't like that at all! Come on guys, live up to the movie!

-"Ever After"-EVERY woman wants a "Prince Charming". Although you have to get past Drew Barrymore's bad British accent(when they are oddly enough set in France), her prince is nothing but charming!

There are LOADS more to choose from, but these made my heart go pitter patter like you wouldn't believe. Don't worry if you get a little teary eyed yourself! Women love sensitive men, just not TOO sensitive!

I'm quite sorry to say but in guy's perspective, it is equivalent of men asking woman to accompany him to a strip club and enjoy the "spectacles" it offers.
And one more point, we get bored easily.
