One: Step Right Up:

Aha! Happy New Moment! I hope that this first week of the New Year has had some foreshadowing on how absolutely wonderful this year will be if you are seeking to shine as yourself! If you pay attention, little reminders are everywhere that YES, you can be yourself and be celebrated for it! Not only can you do this, it IS your divine birthright! Celebrate every moment, praise all before you, show gratitude for ALL the experiences you are blessed with (not just the ones that "Seem" pleasant), and you will never want for joy. The past is behind is! The future is yet to be written by us! The only thing that matters is NOW. How can you make NOW, this Exact moment more pleasant for yourself and those around you?

Two: Coming Soon:

(current news with Divinity)

Things are getting pretty busy as the open mics really get swinging. In addition to this, I look forward to the printing of my first column with Life Dynamix this month. I also look forward to finishing up the drawings for my book "Snots, Bots, and Other Thoughts" . For a sample, visit the "oooh! Writings" link at www.divinityrose.com Look for it to be available in the next couple months!

Three: Rhyme and Reason:

""Man, you're so crazy"

They mutter at what they see.

But my crazy is contagious

So, thanks for touching me!

Four: Thank yous:

I am so thankful for the recent bright spirits I've met at the open mics. The first adult open mic called "Open Heart Purgery" was amazing! I can't even describe the blessing it turned out to be as an open jam and circular, intimate open stage. The young ones at the Friday night open mic are absolutely bold, brilliant, and beautiful. I look forward to jamming with them and listening as they each share their gifts each week with us. We've had so much fun so far. It is such a gift to see everyone going home absolutely glowing, dancing and signing with joy.

I am also grateful for the recent ability of an even clearer sight in seeing spirit everywhere and the amazing creative well it fills within me. I am grateful to see so many familiar faces waking up and seeing the wonder within.

Five: The Tightrope:

*a glimpse at the paths I currently find myself walking...

This week at the children's open mic A beautiful young bodied soul by the name of Solomon broke the ice for discussion by sharing his story "Facing My Fears". I was so impressed with Brave Seven Year Old Solomon, that I had to pass his story along.

"Once, I was having a bad dream. (After waking) I was going down the stairs to my mom's bed when I noticed that the light was off. I was afraid. So, I faced my fears and went down the stairs: with the light off of course!"

Thank you, brave Solomon for leading us with a shining example! When he shared, everyone in the room began to open up about things they were afraid of and why and how they faced them. That's all it takes, people: one person to admit they've been afraid and be bold enough to share their journey with others, so that others may follow their footsteps in facing their fear! One person to step forward and share something that we're all experiencing but to afraid to share. When one person breaks that barrier, they give us freedom to realize we're not alone and that it IS okay to share ourselves.

When we face our fear, we truly realize that every dark thing stems from fear, but all we have to be afraid of is our own fear! Once we defy our fear, we have stepped through the veil and begin to wake from our long dream and are free to defy all our fears. So, I look forward to seeing you all dig up your comfy roots and follow this young lad in some small or grand way this week! Please feel free to share your victories with me!!!

Six: Sideshow Snippet:

Wisdom is everywhere, I tell you! Guidance is all around you! Open your eyes! Receive your answers! I tell you the truth, this week I discovered that wisdom is doled to us in candy wrappers! Cody and I were in a nice little local shop called "Tree of Life" on Bardstown Road. There was a canister of candy there and the lovely miss Judy tempted us with some chocolate. As Cody opened his, I noticed that Dove Chocolate now has words of wisdom printed on the inside of the wrapper. Cody's seemed to fit him: "Go against the Grain". I excitedly unwrapped my candy waiting to see what words of wisdom awaited me.

"Temptation is fun.... Giving in is even better."

LAWD, IT SPEAKS 'DA TRUTH!

Listen to the little voice tempting you to BE everything you can BE!

Give in! Listen to what your chocolates are telling you, and ignore the people that think you're nuts for seeking splendid sugary spirituality and talking to your candies. I mean, people talk to their pets! People talk to their plants! I always said that there's not much some good chocolate can't cure, and my chocolates... well, they're like my little babies. Why wouldn't I talk to them? I have to tell them everything will be okay when they get to the heaven that is my belly. It's about time they started talking back!

Ten: Grand Finale:

It's been such a wonderful week to kick off the new year. If you get a chance, take a quiet moment to think of our community being healed and strengthened in the year to come and purged of all that is unhealthy for us. A lot is going to rumble and fall down around us to make room for the new, but anytime you start to fear, realize that all you have to do is reach out and take the hands of those around you.

Dream well, dream deep and may all paths lead you back to the heart.

I am so happy to be in this moment with you.
