Ten in ONe 7-14-08: Give Me Back My Cage!

Divinity Rose: Soulfood from a Showgirl
One: Step Right Up:

It is absolute faith that shapes us: "knowing" things are a certain way and feeling comfortable with our boundaries. When we go through a shift, we go through a lot of fear and doubt, because we are letting go of our previous faith and boundaries that we felt comfortable in as we learn to trust something different. We are leaving the confines of our previously known world and leaping to something new, finding ourselves "outside", somewhere new and floating in the unknown. We may have had rock solid faith in one religion and then decide to make a change. We may have had faith in a certain political party or a certain technology. For some reason, we began to become aware that this thing we had faith in or boundaries we were living within were not in our best interest or that the boundaries of said system felt more like a prison. Perhaps we experienced something that opened our eyes to some fallacy in our previous belief system. After that, we find ourselves experiencing one "earthquake" (Emotional, financial, physical, metaphysical )after another that allow us to step beyond the old walls (fears) that kept us.

After we leave the confines of that system, we find ourselves on a journey that draws us to exploring new parts of ourselves. So, after we've begun this journey, it is completely normal to feel wave after wave of fear or to feel lost sometimes, wanting to be back behind the wall and "safe" again. It's normal to panic and wish we'd never started the journey. It's normal to be unsure of anything for awhile. Then, it's important to take a real assessment and realize how far we've come in trusting ourselves. You will feel whole again. You will find strength and faith again. You have to clear out all the old boundaries and characters that you've set up before you can fully adopt something new and have that rock solid faith in it, but you will be able to find it again. Keep at it. Creative, artistic projects, writing, singing, dancing, and exercise all help greatly. You need a way to vent what you are feeling.

Seek to trust yourself and stay determined to have faith in your own abilities to create and give yourself the life you've been dreaming of. You are a magnificent creature, full of potential and magic. There is a bright light burning within you just waiting to shape the world around you. It's there. Sometimes you just have to break down the walls that are confining it. What are some of the amazing walls you've broken down in the last year? What kind of shackles have you freed yourself from? Where are you having trouble with the feeling of too much "freedom"? What kind of boundaries are you still living behind that keep you from Being all that you dream of?

Five: The Tightrope:

(a glimpse at the paths I currently find myself walking... )

I have no interest in political revolution. I am interested in personal revolution: a spiritual revolution. And by spiritual, I don't mean religious. To be honest, I don't really have any interest in revolution at all. I am interested in....transformation. We need transformation of thought.. For that...well...that leads to the transformation of everything around you.

I don't want to see and live amongst mindless zombies who are trained to destroy, or people who have snapped and war against anything and everything. Anyone can do that. I want to embrace true warriors who are strong enough to take the quest to brave the muddy waters of their own soul and accept the monsters they find within...... and give them the love they need to be shushed.
Six: Sideshow Snippet:

Snippets from journals

Self transformation is the only revolution that works.

So many feel as if they're not from "here" - Well, none of us are. We all began as a thought - a dream. But we're here for a reason - to create that dream - to solidify it and give it birth from the unseen to the seen.

I am a collection of thoughts, and the further I go within, sorting through them all, I find the one thought that started it all...and that thought is me.

We are all sacred containers of information that one being is collecting and storing.

We are the travelers. All exists simultaneously, but we choose where to go next - what we would like to observe next. We are. All that has been, is, will be or could be already exists simultaneously, We turn what could be (The unseen - spirit) into the physical realm (the seen) so it can be observed.

I am the gentle flower blossom unfolding in the middle of a raging storm, but I am also the raging storm.

Beasts released, they began to wreak havoc on my life - warring across the landscapes of my mind.

I release all I am trying to hold onto, the past, the future, even this very moment.

Ten: Grand Finale:

We are sparkling pools of life, shining peacefully in the moonlight, but the fish within us leap from one pond to another, disturbing the calm and rippling outward.

We are all such amazing bright balls of potential and it makes me so proud to see how you come back again and again determined to love, determined to keep going.

IT touches my heart so to see little ones, young and old, throw themselves back into the fray when beaten up time and time again, like sperm fighting to break through to germinate an egg. We toil long and hard to be born. Think just how much of creation had to toil and work together to accommodate you being here. What an amazing statement of how important you are to this collective. Thank you for being here with me.

Dream well, dream deep and may all paths lead you back to the heart.

(Sorry I missed you last week. I made five short films and participated in a feature length, and the site overhaul and changes had me swamped. I wanted the changes ready before I put out a new letter :)
