Ten in One: 8/06/08: EWW! What's that in the Pool?

Divinity Rose: Soulfood from a Showgirl
Put on a song that makes you happy.

Listen to your parents fighting.

Stare at hawks circling each other in a beautiful blue sky.

Read words of rebellion.

Read a love letter dripping with sexual overtones.

Fall asleep to the sounds of majestic waves crashing on the shores outside your window.

Read those lines again. Do it slowly. This time, be aware of what happens within you as you read them. What do you feel? Chances are you thought of a specific song. Did you feel more peaceful thinking of the hawks? Could you hear the waves?

We are everything within. What we take in or perceive in external stimuli evokes or calls forth a spirit within us. Imagine a pool of water that is still. Do you notice how easy it is to see a reflection in a still pool of water? Now, toss a big block of dye in. What happens? Ripples move outward from the impact and the water takes on a new color. You are the pool. That block of dye was a thought/stimuli. Once you accept it, ripples move from your core out into your physical life, transforming the reflection. Now, imagine what the water would look like if 1000 different colored blocks were thrown into that pool. It would be a while before the pool was still again and the water would be murky/muddy and thick. It's impossible to see a reflection in churning waters, and even worse in thick mucky colored waters.

This is what is happening constantly to us. We are surrounded with a steady stream of stimuli - ads, ideas, media, other people, posters, books, billboards, radio, television. They keep our waters churning. We become what we fill ourselves with and it's impossible to see a true reflection of just us.

What are you carrying within? What are you calling forth from your pool of life within? What is clouding your reflection? Can you see why it is so important to spend quiet time to yourself every day with no distractions or stimuli? Can you see why it is so important to be selective about what you fill yourself with?

Two: Coming Soon:

(current news with Divinity)

Make some money! Salespeople wanted! I'm putting a city-wide huge promotion together and need some help from people who can sell spots in the promotion to local business owners. It should be an easy sell: I just need help to get it pulled off by November in time for Christmas. This is on a commission basis and is a 20% commission. It's going to be a lot of fun and does a good deed in the process: supporting local business, supporting local artists and messages of sustainability! Hurrah!

Three: Rhyme and Reason:

So, hurry my little spiders

And weave a web through me

Trap up all the little pests

Five: The Tightrope:

(a glimpse at the paths I currently find myself walking... )

I looked at the sky this week and realized that I could see it one of two ways....Dark blue with whitish-blue clouds or whitish-blue sky with dark clouds....I really could see it either way. If I decided it was dark blue with white clouds, I really saw the definition around the edges of the white clouds, but then if I decided to try to look at it a different way, I realized it looked just as real. Can you be this flexible in how you see things? Whatever we decide to see (and how we see it)shapes the world around us.

Six: Sideshow Snippet:

(Snippets from journals )

We are all made of thought. People are to us what we think of them. So, the dead are thoughts in our mind, too. So, when we talk about them, or hold something of theirs, we evoke their memory. We draw them near to us.

No wonder we are shifting and changing with the winds. We are made of thoughts - dreams. We are thoughts contained within living clay. Upon death, we are scattered and go on a journey to regather all of our lost brethren.

Being home would be a pure collection of the thoughts that make for the energy pattern of acceptance.

To answer questions in the collective sea of thought, it's just a matter of speaking with the right thought.

I speak for the freedom of souls.

I am grateful at how much understanding I have received. I walk around in a state of awe of what we are.

Seven: Cool Web Site of the week:

A corporation that gives 78% of its profits to community based charities? And they don't hike their prices to do it? WHAT!?!?!

Ten: Grand Finale:

A couple weeks ago, Lance brought home what looked like a whole peanut butter pie. Turns out, a piece had been cut, but in his long trek from Ohio, the remaining pie had gotten soft and filled in the missing area. VOILA! A whole pie again! Upon finding out I squealed, "OH! Magic pie!"

We're much like that magic pie. It's amazing how just a little bit of time each day to ourselves to "warm our souls" can fill in the spots we've depleted. The point is to clean out all that extra stimulation so you can see your will again. Your love. Having a hard time? Ask your will to show itself.

Speak to me in whispers not too quiet

Fine tune the hearing of my heart

Keep me close, don't let me stray

For I am nothing without you.

Dream well, dream deep and may all paths lead you back to the heart.

Love, Light and Blessings to send you through your dream,
