Ten in One: 8:18:08: YOU Are My Fantasy!

Over the last week, I found myself trying on different fantasies that allowed me to escape my present moment and pulled me out of alignment. Fantasies are all fine and dandy, but sometimes we encounter something that shatters a fantasy, leaving us with a reality we may be tempted to find disappointing. In the midst of wonder, I found myself face to face with a message from within.

God turned to me and said: "YOU are my fantasy."

We are our own fantasies, but oftentimes we're so busy dreaming about the way things could be or worrying about the things that aren't present that we miss out on the ecstasy of Being fully in the moment we are in. We fail to notice the wealth and abundance around us.

A very dear lover once said "Don't ever be anywhere you're not...you might miss something.". ..and he's absolutely right.

When you have a vision, you usually see the finished product or see all of it at once. Our job is to birth that vision into the physical, but it is done one step at a time, which can be very frustrating when you see the entire thing in your mind. Don't lose heart. We are blossoming in a linear format..creating...and your dream will happen in time as long as you continue to do what you can in each moment to bring it forth. Don't forget that we are making exciting discoveries about ourselves. Even times that seem hard or troubled have something to teach us before we can move on to our next discovery, and even hard times have a wealth of opportunities for joy. We have to practice seeking joy out. What can you do in this very moment to move forward? Nothing?

Even when it seems there's nothing you can do, there is always one thing you can: Listen.

Make some money! Salespeople wanted! I'm putting a city-wide huge promotion together and need some help from people who can sell spots in the promotion to local business owners. It should be an easy sell: I just need help to get it pulled off by November in time for Christmas. This is on a commission basis and is a 20% commission. It's going to be a lot of fun and does a good deed in the process: supporting local business, supporting local artists and messages of sustainability! Hurrah!

Five: The Tightrope:

(a glimpse at the paths I currently find myself walking... )

Watching a spider work on its web reminded me of the fiddleback spider, or the brown recluse. It's amazing how something so small can carry so much toxin and be so destructive. One small little thought that sinks its teeth into our being and quickly spreads, killing off parts of us. If left unchecked it can be fatal.

Thought patterns that work their way in can be just like that. The bite may come from the disapproval of a parent or teacher or boss and may be as small as a scowl, but if it's left unchecked, it can infect all your thoughts and keep you from realizing your dream.

Our emotions serve as a meter for us...a gauge to let us know where we are at. If we are unhappy, that is a sign that we need to change something in our lives. Instead, we try to medicate ourselves and force ourselves to be happy while out of alignment with our hearts desires. It doesn't work. The way to healing is to figure out what your heart truly desires and follow it's whispers towards realization one step at a time.

People analyze their night dreams but forget to seek to understand what their days are saying to them.

Ten: Grand Finale:

I see everything as a labrynth and once you solve it and know the way, you can go anywhere you want.

Many ask me how I accomplish so much. I think they'd be amazed at themselves, too, if they'd turn off the tvs, games and other things they fill their time with and redirect that energy into getting to know themselves a little better.

We have great truths within us, and all is being revealed. Many things are falling apart that are no longer needed and we find ourselves in new places. How can you be useful and serve in the new creation? How can you serve where you are?

Don't wait for this world to tell you what you are! Arrive and follow what you love. Shine and say "Hello World! This is what I AM!"

Dream well, dream deep and may all paths lead you back to the heart.
