Ten in One ,March 25, 2008: There's No Such Thing As..

Forgive me for being a day late. Yesterday was my son's tenth birthday. It was an amazing day right up until bedtime when he realized (on his own) there's no such thing as Santa. He realized Sunday that there was no Easter Bunny. All the pieces finally fell into place in this puzzle he's been trying to work out in his head. I held him as I asked why he was crying. He responded "Because I believed in it for all these years."

As we wake up to a new world, we are often more upset that we believed in something that turned out to be untrue than we are in the fact that it's untrue. That's why so many of us continue to believe or go along with something. We don't want to admit that maybe we were "wrong". It's why so many continue to support leaders that aren't beneficial to us or put "prophets" before themselves and others. It's why many continue to believe others have the power.

First, we were taught to believe an untruth. Then, we decided to continue because we were scared of what it meant if it weren't true: If we didn't HAVE to believe what we were programmed to. We're afraid to admit that we were "duped". We feel betrayed. And because of this fear, many pass it on to others... because we want validation that we are OK in our lies or we just don't know what else to do. The more people we have that agree with us, the more validation we have for the lies we choose to hold onto or have an "excuse". If we could just get over the fear of what we've done or been in the past...we would be free to BE. We would be free to be the Powers that bless each other.

He said "I had to figure that out and I'm TEN....I should have figured that out when I was nine."

If fear can't stop us from staying true, his partner guilt jumps in. We go through a period of blaming ourselves... thinking we should have KNOWN. We should have seen through it all... we should should should... That's just not the way it is. There are no SHOULD'S. Remain aware of what your voice and the experiences you face are telling YOU. Be yourself.

There is no time line for becoming, folks. Learn to let go and laugh along the way.

He then looked at me and said "Well, thanks for all those presents over the years." before asking if there were any other holidays he should know about ....I told him that "On Halloween giant flying super pumpkins soar through the air pooping pumpkin seeds on every one. I'm sorry I haven't told you yet, but I was afraid it would scare you. "

My son's face contorted for a moment before the tears turned to such laughter, the sadness was forgotten as we sang , "Attack of the pumpkin poopers, Attack of the pumpkin poopers! Here they come flying through the air, pumpkin poopers, pumpkin poopers everywhere! PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT!"

After we express our gratitude for how blessed we truly are, we find a deeper sense of love for ourselves and each other. We see each other as the true ones hurting or blessing each other. We realize there's nothing left to do but laugh at ourselves, which makes things much easier. Live, Love, Laugh.... Your only duty in life. It doesn't get much better than that.

What are you still holding onto only "Because I believed in it for all these years?"

I challenge you to let go of it and be proud of yourself for figuring it out instead of allowing fear or guilt to keep you from breaking those chains.

I've met an awesome Jazz Fuzion band called "The Outfit", and we did an amazing impromptu performance at Church on the Rocks this past Sunday. We enjoyed it so much, we're going to start doing it more! Be on the lookout for where you can catch us performing!

I am so blessed with situations that will cause growth within me and bring me closer to my highest vision of my self.

Thank you for making it glaringly obvious where I could use a good bout of self observation.

I have to thank my friend, Anna for pointing something out to me. We held the monster party Friday to celebrate the true monsters we are amidst full moon equinox magnifying energy, and I hit a point of stress later that night at home. Anna said, "Looks like you've manifested some monsters tonight... just like you planned. Impressive!"HA! She's right! Thanks, Anna! I'm so thankful for friends to smack me when I'm stupid. :)

Five: The Tightrope:

*a glimpse at the paths I currently find myself walking...

You know..this new world we're waking up to...it's not so new...we've just traveled so far we forgot what home was like. So here's a reminder: this "whole new world" has a whole new set of rules.

It's about Unity....Giving....and receiving...we do not have to work or toil to make things happen for ourselves. We realize we are unified with everything around us. We are the holy grail and the universe pours itself into us, filling us. There is a direct dialogue between us and the world around us. We are beautiful expressions of what we are filled with. Are we aware of what we are communicating with our actions, words, desires? What you communicate is what you will receive. Everything around you is working to GIVE you your heart's desires. Purge your dirt often, and stay clean of things that are not truly you so your heart may communicate with the universe around you.

We are leaving labeling ourselves as types of people and are becoming states of being instead. Peace, love, joy. What are we filling ourselves with? Imagine if we unite in communicating what we want to be filled with....

I laid and talked to a tree today. I feel so much better.

So many things you can latch onto. So many things you can become a part of or that you can make a part of you....but none of it really matters.

We are a world within a world. But in truth, that world is within us...and to save us all, we have to let them know we are here.

Ten: Grand Finale:

So many things are magnified right now. In the glaring light we find ourselves in, we see ourselves much clearer. Things that don't fit us stand out in painful focus. Will we continue to try to be stubborn and believe those things even though it's becoming apparent they are lies we told ourselves? Will we try to cling and hold onto those things? The more we try to hold onto them, the more painful the situations we will face that ask us to let go. Will we let go of them by focusing on receiving the things that DO fit and love us instead and going after/asking for more of those? The more we seek to receive acceptance from ourselves and others, the more we turn our face to receive all as a lesson and a blessing, which results in more blessings in finding our truest heart's desires. Will we spiral downward or upward? There is no standing still.Dream well, dream deep and may all paths lead you back to the heart.
