Ten Reasons Why You Should Not Buy Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream
Don't Waste Your Money, Time, or Nose Hairs
The Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream bottle states that it gradually fades freckles and age spots. It also claimed to help fade any skin discolorations that may be caused by oral medication or pregnancy. I thought I would keep that in mind for future use. I chose Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream specifically over other products that claim to fade age spots and skin discoloration because it said it was non-greasy, non-staining, unscented and dermatologist tested.
I followed the Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream directions, which were very simple. You simply apply to the area of skin that is discolored twice daily. It stated I should see results in six weeks and to discontinue use afterwards. Keeping all of this in mind here are my ten reasons you should not buy Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream.
1. Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream is extremely greasy. I applied this age spot cream to the discolored portion of my skin twice a day. It did not seem to soak in and I would often have to wipe it away with a tissue so that I could apply my makeup. Gross.
2. The smell of Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream is completely unpleasant. I understand chemicals are involved here, but this was beyond the normal smell you would expect.
3. When I first started applying Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream I noticed that my left cheek, where I has the age spot, was turning lightly pink. I did not break out in a rash, but it was quite noticeable. This did stop after about a week of using it. I am not sure this is exactly normal.
4. After two months of using this product, which is 8 weeks, I still had an age spot on my cheek. It did fade slightly. On a scale of one to ten, with ten being how dark it originally was, I would say it came down to a six. A still very visible six. The product stated my age spot should disappear within 6 weeks of use and this just was not true.
5. To make matters worse, after I discontinued use of Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream (i.e. when I finally gave up) my age spot returned with a vengeance. It returned to exactly the same color it had been before. I do not believe it was darker, but I am not sure how you would tell this.
6. A 2.5 oz bottle of Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream costs $9.39. I believe that $10, after tax, is just too much to waste on a product that does not do what it says it will. I think I would have rather wasted my money on a t-shirt from T.J. Maxx instead of this fade cream.
7. The bottle of Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream says it is unscented. This was not true. As mentioned before there was a noticeable unpleasant smell after you applied this fade cream. I am not trying to repeat myself; this complaint has more to do with mislabeling than the smell.
8. Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream left a slimy gross feeling on my hands. I used alot of soap and a towel repeatedly to remove the slimy feeling cream.
9. I have very minimal freckles on my face. I did not buy this fade cream to remove the freckles, but I do have to say that it did not make them fade a way. The age spot is on my left cheek. I only applied the cream to my left cheek. The freckles on both my left and right cheek are still exactly the same. I would not recommend this product if you are trying to fade your freckles. See a dermatologist for that and save your $10.
10. After seeing my age spot return I reread the Esoterica Skin Discoloration Fade Cream bottle. It does say that if the age spot, freckle, or discoloration returns to start reapplying the product. I highly recommend just investing in a bleach kit or better product that will completely remove your brown spot without worry that it will return. No reason to buy a product that already tells you what to do if the problem returns.

Post a CommentTo JM your question was can you use the cream over your entire face for eveness & toning, yes you can it works great. I had not had a problem for years until recently I got burned accidently by a curling iron. I can guarentee that after using Esoterica the burn mark will be gone and will stay gone.
I have used this product years ago and recently I have had some new problems with my skin and knowing that this product does work I am purchasing another (JAR). Have the lady who complained so much about the product, have she considered that there may be something wrong with her skin and not the cream. I personally think it is a GOD send myself.
less that a day or two depending on their ordering system and there is NO EXTRA charge for them to order anything for anyone. Good luck to all who are using this product and I hope it works as you expect it to. I will be using it as suggested and will report back. I can say I have seen a difference even without regular use. This product can be compared to Lustra which is a prescription required by your doctor, the difference is OTC (over the counter) is 2% whereas the RX strength is 4% hydroquinone. I may try it on other areas after reading all the post... Happy new year to all.
nothing works over night. I have developed very dark spots on top of my already freckled face. I have not used it as directions say however, am sure if I did it would be GREAT. I have noticed change and like i said, am not using it as often as I should. As far as the "smell" the above writer is in my opinion, correct. It means nothing added to make it smell good. The smell is not the best but after it is absorbed it is fine. It is thick upon applying but not greasy and does not linger. I HATE greasy oily feeling creams and after this has a few minutes to set it it is very dry! I would suggest applying on a dry face at least dry 10-20 minutes after washing your face then before applying any make up to wait another few minutes so it can dry. I got the daytime cream with sunscreen and wish I would have tried the night cream. I will be getting that tomorrow. TO "ST LOUIS MO" all you have to do is go to the pharmacy and ask your pharmacist to order it for you. it takes l
i don't believe i shall agree with you.. why? my story is i'm asian used to be very dark... freckles like crazy, and have age spots like crazy... i used this product for so long and it's not like what you say at all... i'm white as any caucasian white girl, my freckles are gone, my age spots are not even there, the smell is awesome better than $150 expansive perfume that smells bad... i don't believe that you were supposed to apply a whole bunch on your skin! lightly put it on your skin, but to the point where you said that you have to wipe it off it's definitely a sign that you overused... but this is my feedback to you... i have used it and still continue to used it, and it worked well on me, maybe it's just you because it does different from person to person.
Esoterica doesn't come in a bottle, it comes in a jar, It is not greasy, doesn't have any particular smell to it and it does work. I have been applying it to my face for about 5-6 weeks and it had seriously lightened up 3 sizeable age spots on my cheeks and jaw. I have absolutely no problem with this stuff other than it is hard to find locally!!!
as Jm i would like to know if you have to apply it to each spot or can u do your entire face?
Don't use Esoterica daytime cream....It will RUIN your face!!!
I just started using it as I am 50 yrs old and now have a age spot on my face. I bought it at CVS for under $10 and I think it smells nice and is not greasy. I hope it works. my question is, can I use it over my entire face? for evenness & toning? that would be great
Unscented does not mean there is no scent. It means that nothing has been added to cover up the scent the product has from the necessary ingredients.
