Ten Reasons Why Tipper Gore Divorced Al Gore

After four decades of outwardly happy marital bliss, one time presidential hopeful Al Gore and his wife Tipper have decided to amicably separate. Even though they marked their 40th wedding anniversary weeks and have four adult children. Here below are ten reasons why Tipper apparently decided to pull the plug:

1. Said that it was her idea to invent the internet, not Al's, and that he took credit for it.

2. Believed that Al was more in love with "Mother Earth" than her.

3. Couldn't live in their house anymore because Al disconnected the air conditioning to "save the planet."

4. Tired of Al's long standing request that family members call him by his secret service code name, "Gumby."

5. She doesn't like recycling.

6. She said that despite his winning the noble peace prize he is actually usually very irritable at home.

7. Shocked Al when she said that she voted for Bush twice.

8. She was upset that he was spending to much time with former president Bill Clinton.

9. Was tired of going to White House reunion parties.

10. Was sick and tired of living in Nashville and listening to country music.
