Now that the weather is warming up what better way to get excited than listen to songs about the great outdoors. This list consists of songs that make me happy thinking about spending time outside enjoying nature.

This song is about wanting to enjoy the country life. "Spend the day be'in lazy. Just be'in natures friend."

This Tim McGraw song describes wanting to go back to the country life. "I'm gonna live where the green grass grows, Watchin' my corn pop up in rows."

8. Miles from Nowhere - Cat Stevens

This song reminds me how it is nice to be away from everything even for a moment. "Miles from nowhere, not a soul in sight, oh yeah, but it's alright."

7. Country Roads - John Denver

I want to visit West Virginia thanks to this song. "Almost heaven, West Virginia, Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River."

6. Earth Day, Every Day (celebrate) - John Denver

This song is a great reminder to take care of our earth every day, not just on earth day. "Celebrate land and sea, Celebrate you and me, Celebrate Earth Day, every day."

5. This Land is Your Land - Woody Guthrie

How many times did I sing this song in school and just imagined walking through the country and seeing all the beauty. "From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters."

4. Beautiful Day - U2

This song is a great reminder to enjoy each day in our lives and all the beautiful scenery around us. "It's a beautiful day, Don't let it get away."

Here is another beautiful song from John Denver about love and nature. "You fill up my senses like a night in a forest, Like the mountains in springtime like a walk in the rain."

2. What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong

This is a beautiful sweet song about love and nature that always makes me smile. " I see skies of blue, clouds of white. Bright blessed days, dark sacred nights, And I think to myself, what a wonderful world."

1. Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles

This song completely describes how I'm feeling right now after all the snow we've had. "Little Darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter, Little Darling, it feels like years since it's been here, Here comes the sun, here comes the sun, And I say it's all right."
