Ten Unique Valentine's Day Gifts You Can Get for Your Boyfriend

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, you may want to think about Valentine's gifts that your sweetheart will love, and your pocketbook will too. Here are some gifts you can make for your favorite guy.

Give him a flattering T-shirt for Valentine's Day
. Design a T-shirt that praises him for his best attributes. You can do this online through t-shirt design websites, or you can create an iron-on with special printer paper and transfer the design onto the shirt yourself. The shirt can say something he will be proud to wear in public like 'World's Best Boyfriend", or "All Man". You can find a great quote about strength and character, or the shirt can have an inside joke that only the two of you understand.

Have a piece of art made with you as the subject. You can go to a photo studio, or take a snapshot and use editing software to turn it into a sketch or watercolor. If price is no problem, hire an artist to turn your photograph into artwork. It can be as small as 4 X 6 or as large as a poster. Because it is of you, it will surely be unique.

Buy a video tape of his favorite TV show. Men may not be able to tolerate commercials, but they have no problem watching the same TV show over and over again, especially if it is their favorite. Purchase a boxed set of an entire season, and watch some of it with him. You may find out you like it too.

Clean his room or apartment for a Valentine's Day gift. If his space is too much of a mess, hire a cleaning person. Another option is to give him a gift certificate for a cleaning service.

Help him find things this Valentine's Day. Purchase a chip to put on his wallet and keys that he can use to locate them when they are missing. It might be fun to make him find the gift box!

Give him a single tool for Valentine's Day. Purchase one really nice, high quality tool. Get the best hammer, screwdriver, or wrench you can find. Have it engraved. Find reasons to purchase more tools from the same set in the future. He may know what he is getting for his birthday and Christmas, but he will surely look forward to it.

He might like a toy for Valentine's Day. There is a little boy inside of every man. It will not be hard to figure out what kind of toy he likes. If he owns a game system, buy a game. If he loves cars, buy a model. If he likes electronics, buy a toy robot.

Create a personalized Valentine's tie. Several different websites allow you to create photo ties that repeat the same photo over and over again. Instead of a photo, create a monogram for him in two colors and use that image. The result will be unique and beautiful. This product should average around $30.00.

Buy something for his car. Men love their cars, and they will love you for buying a gift for their car. Your options are endless. You can get a license plate frame, a steering wheel cozy, or seat covers. Other car gifts you can buy are a wash-and-wax set, or a gift certificate good for several car washes, or a car detail. If you are short on cash, wash his car yourself, but you'd better be good at it before trying.

Send him on a date with his mom for Valentine's Day. Guys are often caught between the wishes of their girlfriends and their moms. If you know of an event or hobby that both he and his mom like, find an opportunity for them to go out together. (Of course, you won't want this to happen on Valentine's Day, but soon after.) The "date with mom" can be a meal, a movie, or tickets to a NASCAR event.
