1. Massage your temples, starting from your eyes all the way to the back of your neck. - One of the main reasons your head is pounding and you feel that headache coming on is the lack of bloodflow through your head. Massage the places where you feel the most pressure to get the blood flowing and your mind back on its feet!
2. Stretch often - If you are sitting at a desk too much, remember to reach for the sky and stretch your arms and upper body, and kick your feet out to stretch your legs. Once again, if blood flow is low throughout parts of your body, you will feel the burdens of stress.
3. Go outside and take a walk - The air in your room is not fresh. Take a walk and stand in awe in front of mother nature's beauty. Take deep breaths of fresh air to clear your lungs and your mind.
4. Take a break, watch television, surf the web, play with your kids. - Whatever you enjoy doing, do it. Take a break from whatever is bugging your mind and forget about it altogether. Have some fun and go back to whatever you do. You will feel rested and think clearer.
5. Take a nap - Even if you don't have enough time to fully fall asleep, you can close your eyes and rest them. You will feel calm and relaxed to tackle whatever problems await you.
6. Eat something tasty - For some people it's ice cream, and for others its a nice smoothie. Eat something you like. You will feel happier and more energized.
7. Sing - Singing a song or singing along with the radio is bound to make you smile. That one smile relieves your stress ten fold.
8. Take a shower - Not a cold one. Make sure you take a warm shower to help relax your whole body. You will definately think clearly after every square inch of your skin is covered in soft warmth. You will be cleaner too!
9. Massage your body - It may not feel very fun to massage yourself, but loosening up all of your muscles will definitely make you feel relaxed.
10. Lion's Face - This is a yoga move. What you do is open your eyes and mouth as wide as you can. Stretching your whole face loosens it up!
