Tenley, from Bachelor, Gives Ellen the Scoop

Tenley from the Bachelor on Ellen DeGeneres

Tenley was the 2nd runner-up, which means the first loser, on The Bachelor. She was so sweet and positive and represented all of the values that Jake Pavelka said he was looking for. In the end, however, she lost out to Vienna, a woman who was her polar opposite.

Tenley was very popular, especially when it was down to the final two women. Today, she appeared on theEllen DeGeneres Show, and there weren't even any tears!

Tenley on Ellen DeGeneres

Tenley was all smiles, as always, when she made her appearance on Ellen. She came out positive and vibrant, dancing with Ellen. She seems to be recovering well from her heartbreak and enjoying her extended tour of duty on talk shows.

Tenley's recovery has come from her realization of that part of Jake that she didn't get to see and know during the filming of The Bachelor. Tenley still can't figure out what Jake meant when he dumped her on the scenic overlook in St. Lucia. Upon watching the show she realized that Jake and Vienna had a lot of physical chemistry. In her words her greatest awakening was realizing that Jake wants that "physical level" taken care of first.

Tenley didn't have anything bad to say about Vienna, which makes her one of the few among the women in the house and viewers. But seriously, did we expect any less from Tenley? She had never said anything negative about anyone (at least on camera).

Even some tabloids and celebrity web sites are coming around to support his choice of Vienna, citing her as more outgoing and bubbly, as PopEater said.

Tenley defends herself by admitting that Jake never got to see that side of her, and that she does have an outgoing, fun loving side, but she wasn't on the show to have sex with Jake. She was reaching for the emotional connection.

It's all good, we know what Jake wanted.

At least Tenley made it to Ellen before Jake and Vienna, who are scheduled to be on the show tomorrow.

Jake's rejection of Tenley

In the after-the-show finale of The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka and Tenley saw each other for the first time since their tearful goodbye. Prior to dumping her like a hot rock, Jake sat crying over two engagement rings saying that he had fallen in love with Tenley and Vienna.

He vexed over the decision, but we all knew he wasn't going for Tenley. Vienna had the sex appeal and had Jake's hormones in overdrive. I don't think he was thinking clearly when he picked Vienna. If he is anything like the man he professes to be, with the values he professes to have, they will never last. Regardless of the fact that they are making the talk show round kissing, hugging, and wallowing on each other.

I liked Tenley but they did kind of paint her one note.

I would think they would be aware of the possibility of this in advance. Oh well, reality television!

Tenley seems like a beautiful person and is too good for Jake, as far as I'm concerned!

I don't think Tenley is over her xhusband. She talks about him too much. She is a little too goodie for Jake...he was not to trot but not for her.

    Interesting read!
