Tennessee Titans Report Week 13

In a game they really needed, the Tennessee Titans responded with a big win. With their defense looking improved, and the offense getting Touchdown's instead of field goals, the Titans go past the Texans 28-20. Here are some of the key moments from the game:

The Houston Texans score on a 1 yard TD run by running back Ron Dayne.

The Titans respond with a 1 yard run for a TD by LenDale White.

Kris Brown kicks a 45 yard field goal to give the Texans a 10-7 lead at half-time.

Roydell Williams catches a 43 yard pass from Vince Young to give Tennessee a 14-10 lead.

Justin Gage catches an 11 yard pass from Vince Young to give Tennessee a 21-10 lead.

The Titans add a TD run by Chris Brown to finish the game 28-17.

Coach Fisher hit this one on the button. He said that Rob Bironas should only come on the field for kick offs and extra points. The Titans improved their red-zone efficiency by scoring 3 TD's with 3 red zone trips. The Defense came back to life as well. The return of Albert Haynesworth seemed to revive this defense. While there is still room for improvement, the Titans looked much better than they have the last few weeks. Furthermore the running game of Tennessee look much better. The running game has been non existent the last few weeks. Lendale White and Chris Brown combined for well over 100 yards.

I can't help but to notice the continued improvement of Vince Young. It seems every analyst continues to put him down and talk about all the things he can't do. He threw the ball for nearly 250 yards and 2 TD passes. Not to mention once again he had a number of passes that were dropped. Vince is looking more and more comfortable. For a guy only in his second year, he has made a lot of progress. Sure he makes mistakes here and there, but this is a buy who will be a winner.

Next up for Tennessee a key matchup with the San Diego Chargers. With a 7-5 record the Titans are still very much alive in the playoff hunt.
