Kelly Banaski Sons
Summer in Tennessee is hot, humid and relentless with 90 degree temperatures lasting well into September. What better way to spend a humid, Tennessee summer day than in the wet and wild depths of a water park? Tennessee has several water parks all with different amenities and extras but all with lots of water fun and excitement.

Nashville Shores

Nashville Shores is water park as well as myriad other activities for summer fun. Kids love the Wacky Pool where there are slides and fountains and all the things that make summer fun for the younger crowd. There are similar sections for older kids and adults love the thrills of the 350 feet tall racing mats. The Banana Boat, The Big Scream and Kayak Cove are only a few of the ways to enjoy your day here. Jet ski rentals, mini golf and a variety of eateries are also available.

Wild Bear Falls

Wild Bear Falls is in deep in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and surrounded gorgeous scenery. Ramsey Cascades is an indoor tree house a 300 gallon dumping bucket that sprays over the whole structure periodically, two slides and a lot of fun for the little ones since it's only a foot and a half deep. Little Pigeon River is a zero depth, spraying play land for toddlers only. Clingman's Dome is a 350 foot long slide for adults and advanced swimmers. Ride a single or double tube down this tube for a trip you won't soon forget. Moonshine Hollow is a three and a half foot warm water jet swirl for those who enjoy the hot tub experience. Grotto Falls and the Swimming Hole are also available for advance swimmers. Groups are welcomed and since its indoors there is always fun, rain or shine.
