Tennis Courts in Wichita, Kansas
Since I live in a very rural town, it is a happy day when I can go to Wichita for the weekend and get a few tennis matches under my belt.
I have compiled my top two places to go in Wichita, including fees, locations and hours of operation.
Genesis Health Club (North Wichita)
This is by far the best place to play a game of tennis. Not only do they have tennis but other sports and activities to choose from. Genesis Health Club offers outdoor and indoor courts, both areas lit for evening play. Do you have a child interested in tennis like I do? B K Tennis Academy (West Wichita)
According to the Carrie Rengers, B K Tennis Academy is approximately a 25,000 square feet facility is located in Western Wichita just east of Tyler Road (for now). Owned by brothers Kenny and Brent Fields, The tennis court is actually going through a positive transition which I was told about during the call; they will be moving and expanding their large facility into a larger facility and a name change in the next few weeks. The new name will be Wichita Tennis and Fitness.
Their new 45,000 square feet facility will have six to eight indoor courts and debating on how many outdoor courts. Most likely there will be more than six outdoor tennis courts. The new facility will be ready sometime this winter, but for now, the old facility is up and running. The facility also boasts of adding exercise equipment to the new facility, making the facility even more diverse. For more information, call the number below.
