Chop chop the garlic and jalapeno,
cube the tomato, dash with salt
and salsa sizzles with corn
zest of onion, zest of sun.
cube the tomato, dash with salt
and salsa sizzles with corn
zest of onion, zest of sun.
Flop flop the beach sand, and flip
dripping and sodden hair and skin dry
and taste margarita rimmed on lip
and buzz the day of laze stroll.
Passionate night rims the sand
ablaze palms and a lazy sea,
whirling and tamporine beat
drumming hand, stomping feet
and the slow strumming humming
of caballero, senor and senora
watching the stars alight and moon sputter
sing-a-along stroll of free day.
