Terrell Owens: For Your Consideration

How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Just Love My Quarterback

James R. Ford
Terrell Owens, the mighty T.O., broke down and cried at the Dallas Cowboys final press conference today, after his team failed to score in their last possession in yesterday's loss to the New York Giants. With the season over for T.O. and his team, T.O. was asked about quarterback Tony Romo and the shame and blame that comes with a 13 - 3 team losing at home with the game on the line.

Owens, choked up and sort of cried when asked about Romo, his vacation in Mexico and how it affected the game. Behind large designer sunglasses, Owens gave a performance that would merit an Academy Award, if he was to consider an acting career. "That's my teammate, we lost," Mr. Owens said with an exaggerated pause and a sob worthy of critical acclaim. Maybe an analyst position beyond the AFC and NFC Championship games and Super Bowl contest is a desired option for T.O.

Today's broadcast, now is now being seen all over the internet, and should be a top story on ESPN and other leading sports channels and networks. Terrell sure knows an opportune time when he sees one. Because his season is now over, it's time to start keeping the name out there. Hello, Hollywood?
It's the way T.O did it. While thinking of the question asked, his relationship with Tony Romo, and the impact of the Cowboys loss, T.O. reached into inner psyche. He pulled out a gem straight from the Stanislavsky book of acting.

T.O., the method actor. Marlon Brando would be proud of him.

Now, I'm seeing Terrell Owens on Broadway in A Streetcar Named Desire. Perhaps, he wants a shot at the silver screen. Follow in Brando's footsteps. Maybe he can call it "Last Romo In Dallas."
