Terrible's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada

A Great Place to Stay

Derek Odom
In late December of 2010 my fiancé and I booked a room at Terrible's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Located at 4100 Paradise Road (map here: http://www.terriblescasinos.com/hotel_directions.php), it is situated away from the all the action of the strip without being secluded. The parking is abundant and the atmosphere is nice.

We were coming from another hotel, at which we were horrified by the conditions and never checked in. Terrible's was a wonderful breath of fresh air after such a horrible experience. We had stayed at Terrible's before, and won't make the mistake of staying somewhere else next time.

The first night we rented a suite, and it wasn't exactly by choice. It was a holiday weekend, and all the regular rooms were taken. Still, it was very reasonably priced and so we took it. The room was actually two rooms, which was pretty cool. In one section there was a nice bathroom with a big shower, a refrigerator and a sitting area where folks could relax. It had a fold out bed and its own doors to the hotel and the patio, as well.

The other room (I guess we could call it the master) featured a great big bed, a huge flat screen television, a Jacuzzi style bath tub with jets everywhere, and its own doors both to the hotel and the patio, which led to the pool area. Needless to say, we were quite happy and did our fair share of relaxing.

On the second night, we moved to a smaller and more affordable room. The accommodations were nice and we were extremely satisfied with our entire stay. When we were there a couple of years ago, Terrible's was considerably smaller than it is now, and they also have a location in Primm, Nevada, sometimes called "Stateline". We were very happy to see it growing, as it has never been anything but nice to stay there.

In short, this author gives Terrible's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, two thumbs up. It is located in a great place, the prices are competitive and the service was great. Compared to the first hotel we tried, it was a paradise, and I'm not exaggerating. We will definitely be returning to Terrible's.

Awesome! Terrible's used to be our crew hotel when we had Vegas overnights. The scent of vanilla takes me right back there. And I don't believe in ghosts but I had one weeeeird experience in the fitness center at Terrible's. Creepy!
