A new strategy outlined
Increasing troops it is said
By adding twenty one thousand to the Pakistan border
Where hundreds lay dead
Increasing troops it is said
By adding twenty one thousand to the Pakistan border
Where hundreds lay dead
In this fight against al-Qaida and Taliban forces
The cowards that they are
Using safe havens and rugged terrain to attack from afar.
So we tighten up security at the borders
These barbarians use
But at what cost?
How many more American Soldiers will we lose?

Post a CommentI don't have a loved one in the military right now. My family has sent our own into battle that way before, however, but to no physical loss. So it is with trepidation that I dare to say the following, hoping not to offend those who have men there now, or who have lost them: America has a history of standing up to tyranny and evil, as well s standing up for what is right. My prayer is that we will never lay down arms that way, and definitely not because the battle continues for a longer time than we feel it should. Evil knows no time limitations, unfortunately for our men and country. God Bless all who serve now and in the past!
