But while are securing our borders from terrorism from the outside. The are still the home-grown terrorist on the inside. The Fort Hood shooting where an Army Major killed and wounded over a dozen people. The Christmas Day Underwear bomber that tried to blow a bomb in a plane over Detroit. The Times Square Bomber which thankfully failed to ignite. In these attacks our leaders have to be strong. After 9/11 former President George W. Bush immediately went into action, sending troops to Iraq, to fight these terrorist, and a capture the people responsible and bring them to justice. We approved water boarding by the CIA.(Central Intelligence Agency). That did have an awesome effect, they were able to catch more terrorist and prevent most future attacks.
Even though the attacks happened in Bush's first year of office and during his first term, he was strong. Many people opposed the war. Said it was not right. This country was founded on war. We fought to be free. Our fore Fathers shed their blood so we can be free. After President Bush, President Barack Obama took office and he did something that most people would believe to be insane. We let down America's defenses. During the Fort Worth massacre he just took his time like it was not important to him.
Under Obama more attacks were made though not successful but disastrous if they were. He decided in giving terrorist rights, breaking the Geneva Convention. Try them in criminal courts which got many people upset and angry. The closing of Gitmo. if there was another major attack on this country like 9/11 it would be because our so called leader has made us weak, he apologizes for the country, he also became a joke not only to this country but to its enemies. if we do not act fast our freedom and liberty will be in jeopardy.
