Terry McMillan- Victim or Villain?

Should gay hair stylist Jonathan Plummer be sued for attempting to disfigure the image of mega million book selling Diva, Terry McMillan? All media outlets are having a field day with this modern day dilemma of a married man stepping out of the closet on his straight wife.

We thought this issue was over when the couple settled for an undisclosed amount of money in the divorce proceedings. Well, apparently Ms. McMillan has not been able to digest the entire meal of having her young husband finally admit to her his gay lifestyle/tendencies. From there, the speculations roselike the sun on a bright Sunday Morning. The news varied from Ms. McMillan being 'love hungry', desperate and searching for anything that is half her age, were only a few to name titles that became her new middle name.

Hey, image is everything now a days. Depending on what career or field you work in, one bad incident equals the end of endorsements, positions, jobs, movie roles, book deals and even your credibility and perception with fans worldwide. This can impact sales tremendously because what fans once thought about their favorite celebrity is now something different! From there, the fan may be upset and write awful letters, stop supporting the celebrity or spread even more vicious rumors; which could keep new potential fans from seeing or hearing any of the celebrities work.

So, that brings us back to the original question. Should Ms. McMillan be able to sue for Mr. Plummer defacing her imgae? I would say- - - hell yes! Please, don't hit my page up talking bout "she knew that man was gay", or "she should have used her womanly intuition." If that is the case more then half the women of the world wouldn't be with the current man that they are with now. Yet alone, mothering some of the children by these dead beat men. Just check the data source for any county court for outstanding child support cases. I know yall hear and FEEL me!

I mean be real. No one was talking about JL King's wife. They actually believed her when she said she didn't have a clue, or any noticeable facts that her husband was gay! Even Mr. King stated that "There are signs, the women just have to be real with themselves and not settles in denial too long!" Hell that statement meant to me; no playing in the water puddle while a loose electric line lays near the puddle! Keep playing and you gone get shocked!

Now forty million? Terry McMillan will have to have to reduce the amount requested. Everyone knows that Mr. Plummer can't do enough up-dos and flips to pay Ms. McMillan the restitution that she so deserves for having her image wrecked by a man that knew his sexual preferences long before he boarded that jet to come to the States.
