Testimony Ends in Ricky Holland Case

Quick Update on the Lisa Holland Murder Trial

Liz Copeland
Lansing, MI - Today was the final day of testimony in the case of Lisa Holland. Holland stands accused of open murder and first-degree child abuse in connection with the death of Ricky Holland in July, 2005.

Today, the defense rested after the testimony of Lisa Holland's mother. She was on the stand for nearly 2 hours, but was not asked if she thought it was Tim who killed Ricky. She did testify that Tim was becoming controlling in their relationship for about a year prior to Ricky's murder.

The defense decided not to bring Lisa Holland's brother to the stand.

Closing arguments are expected in the case Wednesday. The jury will begin deliberating after closing arguments. There are no estimates as to how long deliberations will probably take.
