Texas Scottish Rite Hospital's Fall 2008 quarterly newsletter is circulating with a special emphasis on the holiday spirit of Christmas, as well as, events that are scheduled in the near future. In the very back of the quarterly, the first thing you will find is Holiday cards that have been created by the hospital's very own young artists and patients. Three particular children from Texas are mentioned with special thanks to their contributions; Grayson 11 yrs old, Emily 8 yrs old, and Gabrielle 11 yrs old.

The other things you will find available are ornaments decorated with TSRH's 2008 design and an opportunity to give to TSRH in your loved one's name and the hospital will send gift cards to your list of recipients. You can get an order form from their website, tsrhc.org/give, to mail in, or you can order by phone at 1-800-421-1121, ext. 7650 for the gift cards, ext. 7825 for the ornaments, and ext. 8304 for the specially made Christmas cards. One hundred percent of the Christmas card sales go to support the children of TSRHC.

This hospital needs all the help they can get. None of these patients are able nor are they required pay for any medical costs in order to be a patient at the Scottish Rite Hospitals that are located throughout the United States. The hospital foots the bills for testing and therapy equipment, and all other medical supplies and costs. But they are only able to do this with your support and donations. They have always taken care of each generation of our children, so these kids can live a quality life for as long as possible. So, help support Scottish Rite Hospitals, no matter where you're located, so the children can continue living a full life and the hospital can continue the excellent care and devotion that has so marked their hospitals throughout the years since its inception. Be a Santa Claus were it counts.
